Steady, Are you on the 1mb? I thought your post said 2mb. Is that the £14.99 package? Don't want to change and find it is as bad if not worse.

I think that it's the 1 Mb but every time that I connect a little balloon appears near the bottom of the screen and it says "you are now connected to Virgin net 2 Mb" or words to that effect.

Exactly the problem i am having!

My connection is very unreliable now. My 8mb broadband is only get speeds of 0.7mb (line is capable of 2mb).

I'm exploring other providers now.
