It was a great programme. Well done Martin.We definately need to see more of you on TV. You have a very unpatronising style that many other finacial journalists don't.

I have just got in and I'm watching it now, yes I finally got my HD/DVD Recorder working tonight. I will merge the threads but to be honest it will be tomorrow because I am off to work early in the morning.

Not sure if it's just me but, whilst I have a lot of sympathy with people in this situation, it escapes me how one partner can buy, for example, a new car and the other partner doesn't seem to question how it is paid for!

I'm sure a recall a bloke one time who convinced his partner he had won the lottery, and bought her everything she could imagined and racked up something like 70k of debt......... how naive..........didn't she ever ask to see the winning ticket???

I found the show extremely inspirational, I've not been making much effort with my debts in recent months and its given me the kick I needed to get on with sorting them out. I've always kept hold of my cards 'just incase' - but I'm going to cut them up and cancel them when they get emptied now.

I really enjoyed the interview of the man from the bank to, really made me chuckle.

Thanks Martin, for the show and everything you've done for so many people!

I started watching it but missed the end as I was rather ill last night, had a banging migrane but really wanted to see the program !! must say what I did see was worth it !
