I have had to buy a few toiletries, mainly hair products/shaving gel, this week for DD to take to uni next week, all things I did not have in my stash so at least they wont be adding to my stash. She will be taking some things from my stash, shower gel, shampoo, handwash, toothpaste/brushes and maybe a few other bits. I thought it better I got the stuff she needed at a better price rather than her having to pay out of her limited money once she has left as I know she would just go to the nearest place and pay full price:eek:

Go for it Bronnie, I went to a newsagent where I didn't think the Telegraph would be popular (could be anywhere for all I know!). Go go go!

Bought a couple of packs of cotton buds from Wilkos today but I have just taken the last pack out of my stash and cotton buds arn't something I usually stockpile anyway so a definite needed to buy spend.

I also tried finding some shaving gel but Wilkos, Superdrug nor Tescos had what I was looking for. Have seen they've got a special offer in Avon on shaving gel so will have to speak to my hairdresser and see if she can order me some. Again this is something I don't stockpile and will need probably in the next couple of weeks or so as I'm on my last one. I do have some wax strips I bought a few years ago thinking I'd like to start waxing but now the appeal has gone and I think I'll just stick with shaving. The wax strips I'll put on e-bay.

I need perfumes..that's what I'd like. I have spent this year running stuff down (apart from a sneaky summer hol purchase of Narciso Rodriguez Essence:p) It had just occurred to me this morning that I should go on a sniffathon to identify what I'd like as my birthdays in Nov too! QUOTE]

I think that's a good thing to put down on your list as it's not something that you'd necessarily treat yourself to very often. I put perfume down on my list last year and got what I wanted :D. I'm still enjoying using it plus others I have and so I need to think of something else for my list!
  • 3 UUs this morning - yay! Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo 75 ml and Pantene Aqua Light Conditioner 75 ml. Also Boots Extracts Bergamot Body Butter 50 ml. WIBA? Yes, this is one of my favourites as I love the smell of Bergamot.

In September I've now had 16 UUs and 10 "innies" and so I'm feeling pleased that the UUs are in the lead!

Morning all - sorry for my absense - am moving house at the minute so things are somewhat fraught! At least now I have all my stash in one place - and lord the size of the stash is frightening.

    Couple of UU:
UU: Osis deep conditioner - WIBA? no - was OK but nothing fantastic for the money.
UU: BS neutraganics (SP) toner - WIBA? YES - can't wait to finish the one I'm half way throught as its my last toner in teh stash and I can then legitimetly go out and buy this one from BS. It smells great, is kind to the skin but does remove all traces of everything.

    Hope everyone is keeping well.

  • A disappointing given-up rather than used-up:

Rimmel french manicure (Rose Praline) - WIBA nope. A very thin product with a glittery finish. Nope given up with that horrible stuff.

Anyone know of any Clarins offers on at the moment? I need to buy some cleanser.
I've managed to get one of those Telegraph papers today with the £5 off for Body Shop so will use that to get my day cream.

I'm low on conditioner so will root out to see if I have any in stash - this is a minor miracle just writing that! Still got a problem with shampoos - I have 2 unstarted ones in the cupboard. A make from Sainsburys that I am not keen on and one of those shampoos that aims to get rid of brassiness - it's a silver bottle (some posh make from Boots) apparently it comes out purple and I'm worried about using it. Anyone here used it?

there was a Clarins offer at Debs a while ago but guess it may be over, have you tried Clarins own site?they sometimes have good offers and they send the things out beautifully packaged with free samples of your choice, also some of the online sites like halfprice perfumes(go through Quidco etc) have some things on cheap but not the full range so you have to look through them, hope this helps:)

I looked at www.escentual.com last night. The 2 Clarins items I wanted were a total of £17 cheaper than in the dept store, plus they offered free del over £40 spend and a free gift (the flash balm I think which would ebay for about £8-£9 if you don't want it) if you bought 2 Clarins items. Anyone used this company?

EDIT TO ADD. Just checked and it's also 7.5%cashback from Quidco. Good saving......... balanced against excellent advice and customer service plus lots of freebies I've been currently getting from Clarins counter at House of Fraser, so ?????

Received a free sample of the Olay Total Effects moisturiser this morning. Don't really need anymore moisturiser but it will get used eventually plus I quite like the Olay moisturisers, just can't pick one to use on a regular basis :rotfl:
