    3 UU for me...
Boots Botanics Refreshing Shower Gel - WIBA? No, it left my skin feeling tight and dry
Pantene Pure Aqua Shampoo and Condtioner - WIBA? - possibly if on offer, it did no better than my usual shampoo and conditioner.

 Morning lovelies! A UU for me today (but loads of UU's brewing! :j)

UU Perfect 10 Hair Colour WIBA? Definitely! When I was applying this it was blueberry purple on my head and to say that I was very scared about the end result would be putting it mildly - Longest 10 minutes of my life! Luckily the colour came out a beautiful natural looking brown, quite similar to what I was expecting from the pics on the box and it's an even colour over the grey, the never previously dyed roots and the previously dyed many times lengths and my hair feels silky and looks shiny. I'm thrilled to bits! I didn't really get on with the comb attachment though - I still sectioned my hair and used the nozzle also provided as I always do. If it stays even as it fades I will have found my new favourite hair colour I think. :D

On the UU front I may actually finish some make up this month. My mascaras are so old I can't remember when I bought them, so I keep thinking that I should replace them. Definicils is a big ole tube. I've used one daily for well over two years before and never finished it. Some of the things I use everyday like concealer, foundation and powder are looking close to finishing as well. The only thing I'd have to buy is powder though cos I've got spares and back ups for most of the others.

I've also got a Bobbi Brown palette that I love - but the eyeshadows in it are a different texture to the recent ones I've bought and the casing has all peeled. I know it's younger than my daughter (She's 15) but it's pretty old. It's the greatest basic colours for me though and I just hate to throw it out. I am down to the pan on two of the three shades so I might just tough it out until one of them is finished.

Blimey! Sorry for banging on so long, :o I hope you're all having a good day today. :j x

  • A couple more UU's for me...
UU - Cacharelle's Liberte EDP, 30ml - WIBA? Undecided. I bought this off an internet site because it was cheap and someone said it smelled like "an orangey version of Angel". This isn't quite true but it was nice enough!
UU - Simple regeneration age resisting eye cream - WIBA? Yes. Was cheap, lasted aaaaaaages and felt nice on the skin. Don't know if it has age resisted though - i'm 22 and can't say I have a ton of wrinkles as yet **touch wood!**

Also nearly finished Nivea for men sensitive shaving gel, Aldi's Lacura serum and night cream, and Kylie's Showgirl perfume...
  • I have had some freebie ins, simple wipes sample pack, Olay regenerist 3 point sample cream and Olay wonder sample, love a freebie!

One more UU - actually a binning!

M&S ingredients Raspberry lip butter. WIBA? Nope. No idea where it came from, or how old it is, but don't think it ever did much, and looks rather dodgy now :) There are definitely better options for your lips out there!
  • I went into Boots and came out with what I went in for IYKWIM (a Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch up, paid with points) but I was also given a freebie: 3ml sachet of No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream :o:D.

Therefore, my UUs so far this month stand at 6 and my "ins" are 10. I've got a few items that are on their last splutterings though. I probably won't do as well as last month but I'm still determined for UUs to come out on top!
  • YAY my first UU!!!

I'm guessing that it wasn't too expensive if it was on a glitch but reading that you had 16 bottles of No7 stuff made my heart stop! Then I read glitch :D. Just off for my bath now. Shall see what I manage to UU, if anything? TTFN xx

I'm getting good at this:D I've been staying away from Boots and all I've bought this month are contact lenses and a box of hairdye from the salon supplies shop to do my roots, both essential. I'm not even sure why I include the contact lenses in the beauty budget:huh:

  • morning all,

have a few more uu's to report

tresemme volume mousse -wiba - no this was utterly useless, their 24hr volume one is much better

superdrug coolmint mouthwash - wiba - no, don't know why this is called coolmint - mouth was on fire after using this!

estee lauder advanced night repair eye cream - wiba - no, this was 5ml pot I got as part of some promo and although it was pleasant to use I'm still an old wrinkly

radox african shower gel - wiba- yes, absolutely love the smell of this one

Boots were doing 15 min consultations at all their beauty counters last night so had my make-up done at estee lauder and came away with some very nice freebies : a 10 day supply of doublewear foundation, a 7ml bottle of advanced night repair :j and a 5ml sample of time zone moisturiser, was very pleased, although was slightly less pleased with my makeover - she used some reptilian shade of green eyeshadow that you could see from space, it was so bad my DD refused to let me get out of the car at our local shop in case someone saw me!

    enjoy your weekend ladies, xx.
