I wouldnt like to think that I am the only woman on Earth who buys virtually next to nothing when it comes to toiletries.......but maybe Im odd.
I can list what I buy a YEAR on my 10 fingers.
O M G !!!
are you being serious???
I used to buy about 10 things a WEEK not a YEAR!!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -
Some UUs to report:
- Sachet of Dead Sea Mud Mask
- Boots Evening Primrose Foot Lotion
- Nivea DNA Day Cream sachet
- Nivea DNA Eye Cream sachet
- Charles Worthington Daily Defence Shampoo WIBA? Yes After using this daily for a few days, I noticed that my hair had a nice look and texture to it. It's not cheap but I will look out for offers (not for some time of course seeing as I have plenty of shampoo awaiting use!) Sadly, this was the shampoo that I spilled most of into a drawer - what a waste!
My UUs for the month are now 11, compared to 10 "innies". My crafty UU of sachets has helped!0 -
morning all more uu to report
sally henson nail polish remover..wiba yes because its 97p does the job and doesnt dry my nails..
avon shimmer rose one of my 2 large body lotioms wiba yes but i still have a new big bottle left it did have a nice light shimmer and absorbed quickly
so ill ive bought this month is a replacement nail polish remover and my hair dye total of £2 for both not bad and both needed rather than wanted!total debt 4711.00 at lbm (4217.31) dfd aug 2012  overdraft 800 (400.00) kill overdraft first, loan 1500.00 ,creditcard 2411.000 -
Littletinker...........the world would be a dull place if we were all the same!!
My Clarins eye cream pump has come to a very abrupt end with no warning, so I need to replace this. I am VERY impressed with this product, less impressed with the price, however! Last time the Clarins lady had offered a facial for £15 in their little room with the £15 deducted from any purchases, so might go for that and enjoy a little pamper too.
My Clarins lady in House of Fraser is lovely and helpful and very soft-sell. She also is very natural with amazing skin for her age and doesn't have the make-up trowelled on, so I find her actually a really helpful source of advice and inspiration.0 -
A UU - Herbal Essences no more split ends shampoo (the new red one) WIBA - Only if on offer as I dont think it did much for the ends of my hair but it did make it soft and shiny.
Also L'oreal Nutrigloss light leave in conditioner WIBA - Yes. loved it, this has even beaten my fave Aussie leave in conditioner, it wasnt heavy and my hair was lovely and soft!0 -
Hello ladies, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.mineallmine wrote: »Some nearly used ups to report:
Nivea Soft - WIBA yes (already have as on last knockings). Read about it on and here and for a cheapie product it feels relatively good. I use it on my back and that seems to be helping that area too. IF you don't like the original NIvea - I didnt as I found it was like spreading cheese for me (maybe cold house!) then try this - it's lovely. Savers is usally the cheapest place to buy.
Right I'm going to body brush tonight, then have a quick shower and then a bath. Apparently that gives the skin a real boost.
I've raved about Nivea Soft in the past. And you've just reminded me that I have none at the moment... I'm off on holiday soon, and might have to buy some to take, as it's a brill fuss free all-in-one for travelling (face and body). I'll search my stash first for anything else I might be able to use instead though
I'd like to start body-brushing - any recommendations for where to get the right/decent brush?LittleTinker wrote: »Am I the only one who doesnt have a problem sticking to this challenge whatsoever?

Wow! I do struggle a little, but I am so much better now than I was. I was one of the worst amongst my friends, but now I'm easily one of the best
I have one UU which is a bag of Boots cotton wool balls. I use them for my nails, but I'll switch to a roll of cotton wool that I've had for a while before I buy more balls.
I also bought a Sanex spray deodorant yesterday for £1 in Iceland, as it was cheap, and my Dove one is almost done.
Just finished filing and painting my nails - fingers and toes. I've gone for a pale colour, as my toes were a little stained from months of bright red and dark purples. I'm using a very old Natural collection metallic in Platinum. It's years old, but still good, and quite a nice colour - very silvery, but a slight hint of brown and pink. Quite thick though, so takes a while to dry.0 -

I think you should list it here my lovely and shame people like me who buy far too much! I have terrible trouble sticking to the challenge and seem to make at least two purchases a month, every month. (I could be making 10 a month easily!)
My Nan used to only buy talc, deodorant, sunscreen, aftersun, bubble bath, shower gel, antibacterial hand wash, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, setting lotion, hairspray, cold cream, hand cream, foot cream, face cream, lipstick, perfume and powder -and I thought she bought less than any women I knew. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Evening Ladies! Just back from a weekend of camping up in Shropshire and have a UU to report - one of those dinky bottles of shower gel from a hotel stay at some time. WIBA?, nope, but I'd nick it again if I was in the right hotel! Have now gone on to the next one of these which will get used up over the next few trips. The next trip will also see off a mini Thera-med I suspect.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Feeling very virtuous tonight, while having a sort of my stash I found a couple of make up bits that are fairly new and duplicates of ones I already have and barely use because I don't often wear make up so have got them listed on ebay this evening, as well as throwing out a couple of very old mascaras. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I've been naughty! I've put in an order for 9 items at £20 (inc delivery). BUT they were brushes and I needed them badly as my poor eyeshadow brush is struggling. I also had a couple of stocking fillers in there. Can't wait for them to arrive though.
