  • Hi all, I'm visiting this board with a pesky tooth pain question  and I thought I'd pop in and say hi. I don't often visit the 'no more toiletry' threads any more (hearing about all your lovely toiletries was just encouraging me to buy more ;) ) but you're often in my thoughts when I'm using up the last of that never-ending bottle of shampoo or snipping open a tube of moisturiser or binning a 10-year-old lippy. :D I hope you're all doing well. :)

  • Well done Rosemary - I was in town yesterday but made sure I walked straight past! I reckon you can add another gold star to your name badge! :D

I have to confess another "in" - courtesy of Mum again, something else she's found from her Avon stash since giving up, a bottle of the Aloha shower gel. I really REALLY don't need any more shower gel, but at least I can be certain that it will get used and it smells wonderful!

    Evening all

Welcome to all newbies. I am so glad that I joined this challenge, there is so much more space in the bathroom cabinett now and I have got £50 in a spare tin where I have put £1 for every item I have used up. With that money I shall be treating myself to a beauty treatment in the next few weeks.

Yesterday I used up 2 No7 £5 off vouchers.I bought their new mascara which is great and also bought mineral perfection blusher which I also really like. I haven't bought anything since the end of July so I have done really well. I have had a few UU's as well but threw the items away when I was on holiday recently. Now doing a concentrated effort of using up as much sun lotion as possible before the winter is here.

Good luck with the challenge everyone.

MiL popped round for some computer help this evening and asked if we knew what we wanted for christmas. Yes! So she's going to get me 3 bottles of blissful body wash. She has 2 £5 vouchers so will use one to buy it with. She very kindly gave me the other one so I shall hot foot it to boots tomorrow and get myself 3 bottles of it for £12. I will use my points though so no spend :money:. I know I'm not supposed to be stock piling but 3 for £12 when it's £8.50 a bottle usually is bargainous and I do use it. The three I get tomorrow will last me to christmas and probably beyond so when she gives me my present I will be sorted for a while :). Just need to keep on using up the lotions and potions now.

UU..... Vera Wang Princess body lotion 75m. WIBA? Well, I didn't buy it in the first place and wouldn't normally go for perfume lotions but it is lovely. Nicely moisturising and leaves a delicate fragrance. I got into bed the other morning after my night shift and could smell it on the sheets and on my pillow where the fragrance has rubbed off my hands. It was lovely :D. So maybe yes? Depends on the price I think :rotfl:.

    2 UU to report:

NSpa Coconut Icecream shower creme mini. Smelled delicious so probably would use again

2True nail polish. Purple one, don't know what it was called as it had no label by the time I'd finished. WIBA? Yes and I probably will cos I've got no more purple in my stash, just black, dark blue, silver, red, lime green and gold:rotfl:

I'm going to have to make a purchase this week. My hair is very rooty and I've a nice meal and party to go to on Saturday so that'll have to be done before then, but I've got £3 off Nice and Easy so it should only cost a couple of quid:T

 I think they were 28p in my local Tesco.

If only! Though at the few pence I paid for them I can't really complain.

Unfortuntely I have added to my stash again, but it's not too bad. I'm off on hoiliday next weekend, so popped into Superdrug to get the 2True waterproof mascara (after good reviews on here) - I have no waterproof mascara, so though a cheap and cheerful one was the best option. I also had a look at insect repellant, which I don't have, but will check the price in Boots as well before buying any.

When I was queuing for the tills though, they were displaying the big cans of Batiste for 99p! I get through these rather fast and normally have to pay the full £2.19, so thought it was ok to stock up, and bought 4 cans :rotfl:They're also all different ones, so I can compare :A Though I am loving the new 'Fresh' one at the moment.

    Sorry :D

ETA: I also came home to another free sample of Olay wake up wonder last night - so many in's this month! Will have to have a good weekend of UUs...
