I expect she sleeps a hell of a lot better than everyone on here did pre BR and during BR. I find her repulsive, I dont understand how she has the front to face that kind of confession-I so so hope the relevant OR office sees that article and she is dealt with accordingly

I suspect that the article has already been passed around the OR office that deals with that area of London. Nothing that they can do until a BR order is made though.

I am too kerry, it just isn't on, and the other thing that really got my goat was these lines:

"Figures released by the Insolvency Service also show that the biggest culprits are women aged 25 to 44.

Experts are putting the rise down to "irresponsible spending" of women trying to copy glamorous celebrity lifestyles and seeing bankruptcy as a "quick fix"."

Erm I beg your pardon?????!!!! culprits? irresponsible spending?? lump us all in the same boat would you? how very dare they. I would very much like to sit down and have a little chat with some of these so called experts.

I most certainly did not try and emulate a so called glamorous lifestyle, one of dh's credit cards had been used solely to pay for our weekly shops as we had no other means of putting food on the table.

I am going to complain to the Sun about it, but when I have calmed down enough to write a coherent letter rather than a rant!!

I have the editors address when youre ready Doucam-my complaint went 1st class recorded today-and I have laid into their so called BR expert-apparently all our income goes to the OR-very badly worded and researched-I pointed out culprits too-like we have all commited a heinous crime-all the same as that idiot in the article-I literally have had steam coming out of my ears all day! I hope lots of people complain and the sun issue an apology or at least a correction on the falsities

Well with any luck the OR will see the article and she will get a BRO, fermi mentioned she could be taken to court-think this is for fraud???...she will be villified by all who recognise her...but I doubt she would care....I wish they would refuse the BR petition, but I doubt that is likely due to the volume of debt.

It is such an insult to people who really had to go BR-cant believe she has the forms ready and is still spending!!!!

I feel ambivalent about her but I think she would find it enlightening if she spoke to someone whose husband or wife were so overwhelmed by debt and who tried to work and tried to keep it from their family only to find themselves seeking a more final option than financial suicide.

The number of people here who have lost everything, have depression, lost loved ones, jobs, respect and reputation - and then you have someone who clearly has a narcissistic personality disorder and an IQ conducive of algae who feels entitled. How many of us have lost everything due to business failure, divorce, illness and yet the Sun has become judge, jury and executioner and has determined that we are all wanton spendthrifts?

I just don't get this - yes we want to make BR less stigmatised and yet this kind of idiotic behaviour simply goes to stigmatise further.

I am thinking of the people who have killed themselves because they felt so ashamed that they couldn't take the option of BR.

Gosh yes affluenza, hadnt thought of the recent suicides. God bless them.

Would it be possible for us to all complain to the sun, with a round robin letter???
