Well, I didn't make Wednesday but yesterday was NSD 4. It's a SD today though, I really need to pull my socks up to make 10.

It's the first time in a while, but am treating myself in anticipation of all the hard work & not spending i shall be doing over the weekend, so nothing to declare today i'm afraid!

Have updated sig accordingly-only soent bus fare today but reclaim that from volunteering job so NSD for me :j-roll on Sunday for the next one!

Into double figures today with NSD #10 :T

13 days left of this month, with 2 of them (I think) being D/Debit days.
Of the remaining 11 days I need 8 of them as NSDs in order to meet my target !!!!


Also just noticed that I've exceeded my target for the year - I actually hit it yesterday
I managed 129 NSDs in 2009, but didn't count a D/Debit (or similar) as a spend.
Set my target for 2010 as 132, using the same rules.
I've since changed my rules to include D/Debs and similar, and back-dated my counting system using that method..... meaning yesterday was #132 and today is #133

(If I'd stayed on my old rules I'd now be on #151, having hit my target on 18th Aug !!!!)

Evening all, Sauage cassarole last nite was well nice, thanks to Mrs freelander54 for cooking it. mmmmmm.

Today was a no spend as had to put in fuel, and after all the xtra shifts i been putting in to help reduce our debt at a much quicker rate I decided to today would be fihy friday as called for fish chips peas n gravey for us all for tea.

To make up for todays fishy friday, I had a look through the fride to see wot veg we had left and decided to make a soup from scratch(first time ever) in our slow cooker, so gonna leave it on until tomorrow dinner. Fingers crossed it turns out ok..:o

Here what went in

1 potato
3 carrots
2 celery
8 musharooms
1 yellow peper
4 spring onions

Veg Stock
Mixed Herbs
Sage
Black pepper n salt.

Let ya know what its like tomorrow, if it turns out ok will freeze whats left over and take to work wiv me butties for the next few days.

Evening All! hope you're all geared up for a lovely weekend - doesn't it feel like Autumn is now upon us - there is a real chill starting to nip the mornings and evenings now (though I am still refusing to put the heating on yet - just got our last Gas bill ...£45 which I don't think is too bad at all for 2 people in a 3 bed house )

CF54 - hope the soup turns out well - if you have any cream or creme freche in the fridge you could try adding some of it to the soup and blend it with a blender to make a nice rich soup (though initally try it with a bit as I don't want to ruin your soup for you! ) Sweet potato is also good for soups and I like to add a little ginger or chilli to a nice winter soup too.

I am declaring NSD #9 :j so that's me 75% through my target. Had a course all day at work today so no oppertunity to go out and free pizza for lunch. yummy! Have a feeling there will be a spend day tomorrow and/or Sunday as we need household stuff still like laundry liquid and handwash. Monday should be a NSD and hope to get a couple more in next week before pay day on Friday (:j:j) which can't come soon enough.
