I so love this Spoon :rotfl:

Glad it's made you (and a lot of the other NSD-ers) smile. Thanks to Looloo though, I "liberated" it from an earlier post of hers:o:o
still recovering from the sojorn at the wedding, ears are still ringing from the "band" and still a bit incredulous that I was there, and the Bride's Mum has left a message to say that some of the photos weren't what they'd hoped and would we like to get dreesed again and turn up for a retake:eek::eek::eek:

Oh noooooo... dopey... how would you ever be able to keep a straight face second time around:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Loads of NSDs rolling in on a Monday, well done everyone, let’s try to keep the momentum going this month. :j

A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in :D:D

    Welcome to:
Luisa1981: :hello:hi and welcome, good to have you on board. Signing you up for 3 now, good luck for the month and don’t forget to keep posting, that seems to be the secret. :)
fenna: :hello: hi and welcome, signing you up for 10 now, don’t be nervous, we’re all really friendly. Good luck for the month and don’t forget to keep posting, that seems to be the secret. :)
Janeryan: :hello: hi and welcome, of course you can join in, good to have you on board. Signing you up for 5 now. Good luck for the month and don’t forget to keep posting, that seems to be the secret. :)
Good luck with the job hunting, fingers crossed something good comes along very soon:)

    Welcome back to:
Natty68: :hello: hi and welcome back, good to see you again. Signing you up for 15 now, good luck for the month, but you are going to be in soooo much trouble when BigMumma sees that “f” word in your post. We don’t “fail” here, we just “don’t quite get there” and any NSDs you make are a bonus - hold that thought (as the saying goes). Liking the holiday plans, you’re sounding very organised.
:jWell done for getting to no 5 already, great start to the month and only 10 left to get now.... you can do it

    Well done to:
:jAmethyst68: yay to no 5 today, halfway there now, keep going:)
:jJAMIEDODGER: yay to no 3, there has to be some compensation for a day’s housework and baking:)
:jjintyb: yay to no 3, you’re doing great! Glad you had a lovely day and hope you enjoy your week off. :)
:jshoe_gal_84: yay to no 2, you’re doing great. Oh dear to the ice cream ruining Saturday’s NSD but well done on the car boot yesterday. Hope you enjoy your Chinese tonight:)
:jhoney: yay to no 2 on Friday, you’re doing great. Well done on the low spends over the weekend and fingers crossed for no 3 tomorrow.:)
    Glad you like the prizes
:jLucy-Lu: yay to no 2, you’re doing great, keep going. Hope you enjoy your evening and well done for getting organised with your spending, that’s definitely the way to get NSDs:)
:jnoynoy: yay to nos 4 and 5, you’re doing brilliantly. Hope the jam and wine making goes well (what are you making?) and good luck with the pudding:)
:jredcoltraine: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly and fingers crossed for today as well - this thread is taking on a life of its own thanks to all the lovely posters and it’s great fun to read;)
:jlooloo: yay to no 4, halfway there now, that’s brilliant, keep going:)
:jTrinny: yay to no 2, you’re doing great, keep going:)
:jBigMumma: yay to no 3, poorly pootas definitely have some advantages, no online spending:)
:jelfen: yay to no 3 and keeping within budget - well done. :)
:jboultdj: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly. Hope you managed to get your washing dry finally:)
:jFruittea: yay to no 3, you’re doing brilliantly despite the temptation and fingers crossed for today. :)
Re the chicken - that was courtesy of Looloo, I “borrowed” it from one of her posts. If you want to use it, click on “reply” to my post and then you can save it as a picture on your computer
:jpure dead dopey: yay to no 4, you’re doing great.... love the idea of the wedding “retake”:rotfl::rotfl:
:jjedi82: yay to no 1, off the starting blocks now, woop woop indeed, keep going:)
:jVampy: yay to nos 1 and 2, off the starting blocks now, not surprised you’re pleased with yourself, you should be - well done:)

:jsavingcaz: yay to no 2, you’re doing great, keep going:)
:jcw18: yay to no 4, you’re doing great. Oh dear to your leg, hope it holds out over the next couple of days, fingers crossed for you:)
:jTamrin: yay to no 3, you’re doing great. Enjoy the day’s pampering tomorrow:)
:jdmb: yay to no 2, you’re doing great. Fingers crossed for this week as well:)
:jbeanielou: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going :)
:j3Dogs: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly as well, keep going:)

:jGeebee: yay to no 2, you’re doing great, keep going:)
:jAllieBallie: yay to nos 2 and 3, two in a row, that’s great.. keep going now:)
:jkathy40uk: yay to no 3, to the weather though, it’s such a pain. Liking the planned spending now, that’s definitely the way to get lots of NSDs. Glad you sorted the washing machine out as well.... You’re sounding better, really pleased to hear that.. Take care x:)
:jSarahNeedle1872: yay to no 4, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going:)

    And hello to:
teenyweenyspender: hope the spendy day today isn’t too painful and glad you like this month’s prizes:)
pickleiamin: well done for the disciplined spends over the weekend and for taking your lunch into work today. Fingers crossed for some NSDs later in the week:)

And another busy day today chez spoon. I’ve been working all day with no time to spend so...... it’s no 5 for me:j

Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow.

    ‘night everyone

    Good morning everyone,

Well its raining and blowing a gale here ATM - I think Autumn has arrived!

Think I will be struggling with the NSD's this week, its always hard when you're out of routine. Today Im off to get a birthday cake for OH's birthday tomorrow, and I'll get some small bits for him to open tomorrow. Have already got his fave aftershave.
Looking forward to tomorrow, we're going for lunch with my Mum and Dad to a lovely bistro and then we're having cake and fizz in the evening.
OH's family are in the huff cos we're not doing anything "organised" for his 5oth birthday, so we've not heard anything from them as yet!
    Families eh ?:(

    Have a lovely day everyone:)
