  • Well the wedding OMG

The bride was beautiful, long ivory lace topless dress, with a beautiful train, very classic.
the bridesmaids were black, short ballarina type, nice low key except that one had had a fight with her BF and had a face like a bag of spanners, this was grumpiness to a new level.
Brides mother was 1-speechless.gif1-speechless.gif black 1-speechless.gif with silver accessories, she looked like a overshoulderbustenhalter from the German Luftwaffe, and had a firework on her head, erupting black and white sparkly things, I had to think very carefully what to say cos I knew it had cost a fortune, lot of wasted money.
all men in black kilts looked Ok, don't know if I like plain kilts they are meant to be tartan.
Grooms mother 1-speechless.gif grey 1-speechless.gif long grey sacky thing and again a firework on her head, with red sparkly things, looked like a take off of a BMI stewardess

Wow!!!! Sounds very interesting.................did they set the fireworks off as the couple left? ;)

We did the car boot this morning, slow but steady, and ended up with about £120 which gave us about £80 after pitch fee, purchases, lunch, etc but getting that fruit yesterday meant I succeeded in getting my NSD :D

£120  well done you....I'm coming to your car boot next time...that said, mine only cost £11 for the car (split between two of us, so my 'pitch' fee was £5.50)

speaking of which....really must put my leftover stuff away...looks like I'm holding an indoor car boot in our living room :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all luffley NSD peeps xx

    :hello:
"Happy talk, keep talking happy talk,
Talk about things you like to do,
    I've had some NSDs,
    That's number 2 and 3,
Have you had an NSD-ee too?"
That was brilliant LfV :rotfl: I so remember that song too, always makes me giggle

Well not an NSD!!! I tried so hard too but London Midland trains had other ideas

It wasn't 'bus replacement therapy' today so I had got tickets from Northampton instead of going to Milton Keynes (know a nice little B road route ;)) and walked to the station, got on train......so far so good :)

Wouldn't you believe it!! Five minutes out of the station we stopped  Apparantly a cable had been cut in Wolverton which meant all the signals were out until Milton Keynes :(, didn;t worry too much until a bunch of girls going to the rugby in Twickenaham asked the guard how long they would be and he said he thought they would miss the start of the match at 3 . I am supposed to be at my meeting for 1

Didn't get into Euston until 2.20  by which time I had ate all my sarnies!!!
The worst bit is if they had said before we left (and they knew according to the guard) I could have gone home and driven to Milton Keynes and used my ticket from there and still got there earlier than I did!!!

When I got to the meeting having told everyone I would be late when the signal on my phone was working there were no cups left for coffee and I was parched, by the time we had finished I was also starving again so got a coffee and a bagel on the way back :(

I did at least get my train expenses paid for but I am filling out one of London Midland's forms as my train was over 2 hours late getting in so I should be able to get it back from them too. The one time I had got cheap tickets LOL Can't help wishing they had been normal price :rotfl:and from reading the form you get vouchers rather than a cheque anyway if it's under £40 so I can't even put iy against my bagel so to speak:( Mind you it will cost the committee less next month :)

To cap it all off when I got in I had to clean out the washing machine filter as I noticed it hadn't spun properly last night and I don't think I've put it back properly as it leaked when I turned it on :( Mind you at least it didn't flood when it spun so I will check it again tomorrow :o

My friend who retired recently wants to meet me on Tuesday, I was going to make Monday a spendy day and do the shopping. I could make it last till Tuesday but I'm doing a second job shift at 6 so if I don't get time I am hoping I can last until next Monday, I am on lates from Wednesday which means I can get a dinner with the residents and am also on lates overtime at the weekend so I think I have enough in for something for brekkie so to speak so we shall see :D

Wow!!!! what a rant ...........self obsessed that's me :rotfl:

    See you all tomorrow

Our pitch fee is £6 Kerri, but we rent a storage container at £20 per week as we can't move for stuff in our tiny bungalow, so that adds to our expenses - money well spent though as I am slowly getting my house back :D
