The worst ones are the companies that choose to go bust as an option so that they can restructure and have a management buy-out without paying redundancy. Criminal in my view!
I'd have been stuffed without a decent wad of redundancy. Do need to find a job (or a Sugar Daddy) in the next couple of months though. Getting a lodger - especially the one I've got - was a good move.
