I still cant watch that programme, it brings back too many memories none of them happy. I dont even like to think about it nevermind talk about it. Politicians who knew nothing about anything destroyed lives.

    I feel the same mardatha.
I clearly remember the pain and hardship a lot of people (me included) went through and the thought of it all happening again just chills me to the bone to be honest.
It just takes so long afterwards to pick yourself up and sort your life out.
    Lets just hope a miracle happens,although I can't see it myself,sadly.

That's so true. Nearly 30% the UK adults (of working age) have no job. All this 10% nonsense is spin and bull$hit
I don't have a job... I just make money to keep me going. Had an interview today and I think I've been rejected as she said I didn't NEED a job and therefore might walk out if I didn't like it :(

Isn't that all of them? At least, the ones in charge at any given time.

They're only there to get on themselves, get a wedge banked, get some fancy dinners under their belts.

The true rate of unemployment is already way over 10% when you take into account those malingering on incapacity benefit or whatever politically correct label that joyful benefit is called these days.

You do have a job if you earn money legally.

I don't know what it's called now as I am a little out of touch with that sort of thing from my home land.

I did hear a rumour however that it's going to be sponsored by the Daily Mail as it gives them so many front page headlines.

God knows im no fan of the Daily Mail, Generali, but they do a good job of making sure such a national disgrace remains part of public debate.

If you were still paying taxes in the UK to support these people, you might be angry too.

We have our equivalents here and my family and many of my friends live in the UK so I do feel quite strongly about it. I can also make a joke about it too.

The Daily Mail do a good job of pandering hate, but that's about it.
