I'm thinking of buying some for long haul flights, but as I only make 4 a year I don't want to spend ££££s on Bose.
Is it worth buying a set that costs under £50 or would they be a waste of money? Any recommendations please ??
Thanks as always

I found the cheapish in-ear Phillips ones I bought for the long-haul flights I do, ineffective. All they seemed to do was mute the noise rather than cancel it out. Maybe it's because I usually request a seat near the wings/engines. In another part of the plane they might be more effective.0

First the very best are good, but then again in-ear tight fitted buds should be good to.0

These come highly recommended : !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/nadgp
Sorry link will not work. Search for " Sennheiser CX300 II Precision ECO Headphones / Black " on play dot com0 -
Go to B&Q, get a pair of ear defenders, and, using a regular pair of ear buds, place the ear defenders over the top of them.
Cheap and cheerful, but not stylish.0 -
I wouldn't choose in ear headphones personally. I don't think you'll find better than these:

I've got the open version and they're ace.0 -

This sounds like a Viz "Top Tip" in the same style as:

I've used Sony in-ear noise cancelling headphones such as these ones,
and they work really well.
