Guess it depends how much you want something.

I'm a mature student with a mortgage and all the normal outgoings of a household to pay for, I also have no-one to support me financially.
I've just started my 2nd year in a Forensic Science degree that has me in uni for over 30hrs a week, I'm in classes every day.
I then have to work 24hrs/wk to be able to afford to live. I work mostly in France so have to commute through the tunnel. I do a night shift and a day shift each week and usually spend 8 or 9 hrs at uni then have 1-2hrs break til a 15hr night shift starts. I then get about 4hrs at home in the morning til the classes start again. The day shift is usually 2-11pm after a morning of classes.
And people wonder why I sleep all day Sunday!!!

Hopefully though it will lead to a more fulfilling career.
