  • and then there was the time my mother sent me £100 in the post, very naive.......never arrived

This has happened to me several times  On one of these days he also had a letter that required a signature which he just put straight through. I suspect the parcel wasn't even in his bag so he didn't dare knock with the letter! It was obvious we were in as the car was in the drive and we were in the front room with the lights on.

    thats the headline
now lets take the removal of D2D payments and various other payments then you have a pay cut
removing the limit on the number of D2D's delivered every week means an immediate increase in workload outwith other parts of the 2010 agreement
the pay 'rise' is also added as a separate part of pay. meaning PT staff only get a pro rata amount as per their contracted amount, even if they work 40 hours per week
there was no pay rise for staff in the 2 (IIRC) previous years
seems you want to get over to the golden streets of RM

I'll pass on that, theres enough militants in the NHS who whinge, moan and go off 'sick', don't think i'd cope with the post office lot

Yes, that would be good actually.
I would be interested to read it.
Obviously my aunt had other reasons for her part in the strike. Lol. *rolls eyes*

  • Why would anyone send cash through the post though? Not that I'm mistrustfull of the postman, but it's not an infallible service (as the OP has discovered) there are so many more secure ways to do it... Cheque, bank transfer etc...

My postman frequently chucks parcells behind my bin or in the electric cupboard with a note scribbled on a letter (rarely a red card) I know it's because he can't be bothered to return to the PO after his shift if he can help it... I'm usually in as well... He's just a tit...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
