Don't need another email addie. Have got quite a few (including three gmail!)! It's just that the family btinternet addies have a few important uses.

Will probably stick with BT for BB but will negotiate a reduced tariff by suggesting an imminent move to O2.

OK. Got BT to reduce their BB tariff from £25 to £15 pm and increase the line speed from 1MB to 6MB (Will believe this last bit when I see it! Simply too far from the exchange.) We've also bundled in the 'Anytime' phone tariff at £5 pm. We get £36 cash back for contracting in for 12 months. We have also opted for paperless billing.

So, that's an £11 pm Sky TV saving, £10 pm BT BB saving and a £33 pm (approx) BT telephone saving, totalling £54 pm.

I had been told by BT not too long ago that 2 Meg was the best d/l speed I could expect because of the distance of my home from the exchange. The upgrade is (as they since promised) actually giving me 6 Meg.

So, just by negotiating, I'm not only saving £10 pm on my BB cost but have now got a connection which is 600% faster.
