No, but Quidco and topcashback are currently offering £50 cashback on 02 home broadband sign ups.
With that and the current O2 3 months free offer and the mobile discount, your total first year cost is only £17.50-less than you are paying BT each month. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I see.
We have an O2 PAYG. Does that class us as O2 'customers'?0 -
Yes, on PAYG as long as you top up a minimum of £10 every 3 months then you qualify for the £5pm discount.
Even if you topped up without using it, you'd still be spending £40pa to save £60.No free lunch, and no free laptop

O2's sounding good.0

And either go with 02 Home Phone Anytime package for line rental and unltimited calls (total £20pm including the standard broadband), or switch to BT Anytime calls. That should save you approaching £40pm.
Then call Sky and (assuming you are OOC) negotiate a better deal on your TV sub.
I still can't work out how you are spending £25 on calls though. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Sorry for being a bit numb, but how can a switch of BT tariff save £40pm?
What is OOC?
How much could I expect to reduce Sky subs by and is the start of the process to ask for an account closure?
I am ashamed to admit that I have for decades wasted lots of dosh by not shopping around, so please bear in mind that what you guys take for granted is all new to me!!

OOC = Out Of Contract.
Assuming your BT calls bill is mainly on 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 numbers, opting for their £4.99/month Unlimited Anytime calls package would mean all your calls are inclusive (i.e. they are paid for by that £4.99/month subscription).
With regard to Sky TV, the choices are entirely yours to make. The more channels you want, the more you pay - so really it's a question of deciding what channels you are prepared to pay for! As Sky's prices rose each year, I gradually dumped channels until I reached the minimum I thought I could have (the film, music, cooking, arts and kids channels all went and, now, apart from the free channels, the Knowledge and Entertainment packs - which now cost me £19/month - are all that remain).
However, Sky+ is such an amazing piece of kit, I cannot see myself dumping any more - because you need a subscription to keep the Sky+ functionality.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Well, you said you are paying £25 a month for phone calls on top of whatever tariff you are on (presumably Weekend or Weekend and Evening only). Switching to Anytime at £5pm will save you £20pm (obviously excuding mobile or premium nos). Then switching your broadband to O2 will reduce your bill from £25pm to £7.50pm. Total saving £37.50pm, and that's not allowing for the 1st year savings with 3 months free and the cashback.
I suggest you call Sky and say that you can no longer afford £60pm and are thinking of going to Freview/Freesat etc. Once you get through to retentions they are sure to give you some incentives to stay. OOC = Out Of Contract.
Edit: Heinz beat me to it.No free lunch, and no free laptop
