17 year old lad - ridiculous car insurance quotes
Comments
-
I have just bought my son a year's insurance with Admiral, Third Party F&T with 2 additional drivers, parking on the road AND personal injury insurance that covers him and the additional drivers even if they are in another car for, wait for it ......... £1096.00.
So, thank you Admiral. You came up cheapest, and we are very pleased.
Do you mean third party cover to drive any car not owned by them?
Haven't seen that for anyone under 25 for years now.0 -

No, the car is insured for Third Party F&T for my son and is the only car he can drive. However, to bring the premium down, I added 2 other drivers to the policy (son is policyholder and main driver) who have both been driving for 20 odd years.0 -
Cheapest i could get my 18 year old daughter on the comparison sites was £1475 for a 1.1 Peugeot 106, Went to Axa Ni and they gave me fully Comp for £747 with two drivers with 20+ years also named on the policyWell I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0

Mickey I've just 'got' your post!! It's the Personal Injury that covers my son and the 2 additional drivers on his policy, even in other cars, not the motor insurance.0 -

Thanks for the update, works out at £3 a day which isn't at all bad in my opinion. From the original quotes you got of £1700 that's probably the easiest £600 you will make for a while, well done.0 -

Have to say I'm feeling quite chuffed!! Insurance for young people under 25 is a nightmare, so to feel a good deal has been got is just brilliant. It's still a lot of money, but £3 per day makes it sound so much better! It was my son's hard earned tax rebate that paid for it, and the car, which makes it even more worthwhile as he's now got some spare cash :j0
