It used to be charmin for me but I've been trying to cut back this year and for the last few months I have been buying the springforce toilet rolls from Tesco. They are £1.99 for 9 rolls and we're more than happy with them.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

Where do you purchase this Nicky toilet roll?I like the nouvelle 100% recycled paper and stock up during good offers (often at the co-op), typically getting 9 rolls for about £2.50. It's good thick sheets and I find it goes a long way.
I suppose I could buy slightly cheaper paper, but I like this one and because it's recycled it's much better for the environment.
I try to take advantage of offers like that £2.50 for 9 TR and have tried nouvelle, triple velvet, triple velvet quilted (although this one was 25p more expensive at £2.75 for 9 rolls), & Charmin/cushelle and try to buy a few while they are on offer.
charmin/cushelle seems to be the best imho. I wasn't really keen on nouvelle.0 -
I am another Nicky convert. I always bought Andrex (thinking it was the best) but after all the glowing reports on Nicky I thought £1 for 4 rolls wasn't a lot to lose if we didn't rate it. Well we do rate it and that's all I buy these days. At £1 for 4 or £2 for 9 it's an absolute bargain. Farmfoods and Home Bargains always have it in and I have also seen it on occasion in Poundland (but obviously only the 4 pack!)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

We started out using A$da`s shades but it got quite expensive unless there was an offer on, we switched to M0ri$$ons value loo rolls months ago and started saving quite a bit.
The only thing that drove me mad was the amount of powdery stuff that comes out of the value ones, i seem to be forever cleaning and dusting as it gets everywhere.
Anyhow when i first started buying it it cost 89p for 12, its slowly crept up and last week i noticed that it had gone up with a bang and is now £1.46  I`ve decided not to buy it any more, there`s no need for such a huge hike - i don`t know how they`ve got the bloomin cheek!
Sadly we don`t have a HB or FF nearby so in future i shall only be buying loo rolls when they are on offer and stashing them. When i next visit i shall try some from poundland and see how they compare.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
I refuse to use cheapo paper as it tends to fall apart!
There is a shop which sells discounted food and cleaning stuff and sells 9 rolls of Triple Velvet for £2.29. Been buying that one.0 -
