You might have a black @rse if you used newspaper ;)

Mind you some newspapers deserve being used for toilet fodder like The Sun, and Daily Mail for instance ;)
If newspaper would break up in the drains rather than blocking them I would use that!! I can't work out how they have the nerve to charge that amount for a strip of paper.
  • I used to use Nicky too, but my kids are very heavy handed with the loo roll and used way too much (which you don't have to with Nicky) Sadly it resulted in a very blocked loo and had to go and buy some air thing in a can with a plunger on and it cost about £20 to unblock it, so I don't use Nicky anymore.

I use Asdas own, I find it fine, nicer than andrex.

Cheap! 44p for 4 in Sainsburys - it's fine. Also have been known to persuade BF to steal from work (I know I am naughty!)!!

Don't have HB or Farmfoods near me unfortunately so will have to go without that 'duvet' feel!!:rotfl:

We have tried the scientific approach. The expensive ones do NOT last twice as long as the Tesco Value ones so we stick to those. It is perfectly alright, does exactly what it is supposed to.
I agree. All the big supermarkets do value toilet rolls and they're fine. Aldi have started selling them fairly recently too.

In the past i would use nothing except for Charmin but thanks to this forum i'm another Nicky fan - and its saving me a fortune!
Hi. I have been looking for somewhere that sells Nicky toilet rolls, can i ask where you buy yours from. I have found a site called Janitors something or other, can't quite remember the name. Do you buy yours from there or a high street shop. Thanks for any help.
