Definitely inspiring to see other peoples pics and I have been wondering what a taggy blanket is. Still not sure lol but looks lovely!!
Great minds do indeed think alikeI will try and find pics from last years hampers n hand made items and post them up. Just collecting bits and peices atm for this years.
Me and a friend are off to ikea on weds to get jars (and probably a whole host of stuff that is not needed, not very MSE i know) for my pots of gold.
That would be great, good old Ikea,A taggy blanket is for kiddies that love tags, instead of the traditional one tag, a taggy blanket has lots of varied ones, with different textures and patterns all around the edges :T I used minky fabric ( white multi dot) and michael miller for this one, the minky fabric is the softest thing i have ever felt in my life x

Sainsburys have candy canes in now too. £1 for 12, and chocolate coins too. I've decided I'm also going to do some pretty winter flowering plants, in painted terracotta pots to give with my hampers. My neighbour has given me a great website to order plants from, that work out at pennies, if you buy them now (7p per plant), which is so much cheaper than getting them from DIY/garden centres. I've ordered some cyclaments, pansies and primroses today. The plants arrive in boxes, as 'plugs', which you then plant up into an individual pot. I bought a 2nd hand greenhouse earlier this year, but you could also use a windowsill to do the growing on bit. By the time Christmas arrives, they should be in full flower, and a good size. Anyone interested for themselves, or for presents look here: https://www.gardeningdirect.co.uk I will have pretty hanging baskets all year round now. I'm going to buy the terracotta pots from the garden centre locally, which do them for under £1 anyway. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hello - fab thread!!!
I've made a couple of door hangers for my nieces for Christmas
And I bought a kit to make some santa cutlery holders - I'm in the US right now so got these reduced and then used a 40% coupon so the set cost me £2.10. I'm not sure whether I will use them for cutlery though - I was thinking to put Santa chocolate in them. I've made 2 so far and although straight forward the sequins take ages to sew on!!!!

Wrap seven in different colour wrapping with the sin printed on it and present in a nice box.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
