Hello - please can I join in? I have no idea how much I spend on groceries in a month (except that it is definitely less than £100 per week as that is how much cash I draw out each Sunday!).
Please put me down for £320 FOR THE MONTH and my month will run from 1st September as I've not yet been in a supermarket or similar this month. That's for me and DS(11) and DD(11) while DH is in Iraq.
Thank you and best wishes to all

Hello lovelies
. Today I was most wicked and spent £9.74 on barely any proper groceries, it was mainly a wine for my weekend and stocking up on a load of the chocolate Mr T has got on offer, bless him. I did however pick up some onions I need and a second bag of that pasta that's on for 3kg for £2, so I now possess enough pasta for about six months :rotfl:.
Unfortunately that now means I'm already up to £35.86 and still have the rest of my proper shop to do tomorrow, so even with all the things I have in I'm thinking it's not looking good for me this month... grumble grumble stupid irresistible lovely offers grumble grumble...0 -
Today is another nsd today for me wow and its pay day lol but have done an online mrA order but will add that tomorrow when it comes, have a fab weekend all xxmay groc challenge £167/£280...0

Pudding was plum pie made with some of the two carrier bags full of plums I got from freecycle on Tuesday. Got to "process" the rest of these and the 8 million apples which are in the process of falling off the tree before they turn to wasted mush before my eyes. Don't want plum jam (we don't eat much jam) and don't really drink much, so some sort of compote or pie or... summat seems called for. All suggestions gratefully received![/QUOTE]
I made a very nice plum and apple charlotte with some of the plums from my garden. It was a resounding hit with the hubby. I have some more stewed plums in the freezer which i think i'll make a fool with.
Did my first big spend of the month today - stocking up on cans & bottled water at costco. HD is getting through a load of fizzy drinks at the moment because he's not well but hopefully he will be cutting back soon so they last a while.

Sorry, that first bit was a quote from ChocClare - not sure why it didn't appear in that nice little blue box. Anyone know what I did wrong?0
