Ah. So what are the figures you actually put on your BR forms. Did you keep a copy for yourself?

I know.. but when I read through it appeared there were 2 or three different versions so I was looking for clarification as to exactly what was put onto the Statement of affairs on the BR forms. :)

  • Hi, sorry, hectic here, housework, dog walk, kids, tea to cook etc!
  • yes have a copy, but statement of affairs different not long ago due to Iva, basically wife used all her income on essentials, I paid IVA (£480) out of my money which averaged at £933 a month and 3rd week into month we`d run short of food or petrol or kids would need clothes or something so I gave my wife what I could. Probably £250 ish ish for food, clothes or what ever was needed, probably £60 ish for fuel, I spent £30 - £40 on clotes, socks, underwear n stuff for me. I also paid after school club bills which is a must, they only go if we are both at work. Been hard sorting this out as my wife, well is finding it hard to talk about stuff, I think its a case of `blank it out and its not happening ` at the moment with her. I just wasnt sure of allowances, car maintanence was a good thought from curly, its been ok but is getting to that age and mileage where it might need a bit of love over the next 12 months ( if we can keep it ), I had know idea we could put money away for a holiday etc.

Well essentially, the SOA on the BR forms is what gives the OR the indicator as to whether to put you forward for an IPA/IPO. From my understanding, if they think you should have one they then forward it to the office who deal with IPAs (Forgive me, I can't remember who it is, I've just gotten out of a nice long relaxing soak in the bath and my memory has escaped me.. lol) who will then get in touch with you. I believe at that point you would then be able to tell them about the additional expenditure.
What I would recommend doing is to contact the OR and explain the mistake, and see what they suggest. They may suggest waiting for the IPA/IPO office to contact you.

Again, this is my understanding of what happens but it could vary court to court as I haven't gone personally BR, I'm a debt caseworker for a debt advice charity.

The examiner will normally go through the IPA figures during your interview. It is also the OR's office who will send out the IPA for signature before sending it to MoonBeever to to collect.

I would expect the examiner to send you a form to complete after your interview, in which you can put your correct outgoings.
