You should make the most of a Saturday night,

    No work next day
    Feet up and chill
Grin knowing that you're not the only one watching the crap they put on TV
Good excuse for a slurp of your favorite tipple
Lay in bed in the morning! :D

it gets rather exciting we me and my 2 cats you know on a sat night!

    feet are up
crap on TV - air crash investigation in a min :D no wonder im scared to fly!
loads of diet pepsi for me
Lay in - I bet I will still be up at daft a clock wanting the loo (old age 32 now)
why can i sleep in the week when I have to go to work and wide a wake at weekends??

If you post your SOA up using the link already provided, you will get a lot more advice, also I would avoid using terms like "avoiding an IPA".

  • I didn`t mean avoiding is in evasion!!! I probably did put the title wrong though!! I just wasn't sure what I was allowed. Curly helped, I didn't know that there were allowances for a holiday, she mentioned car maintenance, car M.O.T, hair cuts, things that I never even thought of! Keep going through it, just remembered wifes contact lenses at £11 per month, I don`t want to miss things out on my SOA before OR meeting because afterwards it may be to late. My wifes depressed and stressed enough over finances as it is so I need to make sure I get it right and as accurate as I can!! If I miss things out then essentials will end up coming out of the spare money that we are allowed. Thanks for your concern though, Dojo, I admit that the title does look a bit naughty although that wasn`t my intention! Geoff

Hi Geoff, you just have to be careful as there are certain peeps who love to come on here and have a go at us, if BR wasn`t stressful enough. :)

Have you not spoken to anyone regarding BR at all? Anyone like CCCS, National Debtline or CAB? You will be expected to have gotten advice and by the sounds of it you need a professional to sit down with you and go through your SOA.

  • Yes we went to CAB. We were in an IVA, money tight, my work was up and down like a yoyo, so we tried claiming ppi through claim4refunds. They said we'd get the money if they won. I.e banks pay them, they pay us minus their fee. Didnt happen, all went into the IVA. It got really nasty and they said they wanted £2500. I refused so they put it upto £4000. 15 phone calls a day off them at one point, they were threatening, swearing at me etc etc, real nasty stuff. My wife has had depression for years and at this point she was suicidle. CAB could not find a way out of this apart from suggesting bankruptcy. My IP tried negotiating claim4refunds into IVA but didnt look good, we had to take this route for the sake of my wifes health as well as everything else, shes been really bad
