  • Did our BR forms at home, financial man at cab was booked up till september, went through our income expense etc at the cab office, we had very little left at the end of the month and that was before claim4ref started on us.
  • Have I done something wrong?

some judges do ask have you took advice and if you'd have said no they might have said no to the BR until you had

then again I didn't even get to see a Judge

  • Me neither, we told the clerk our story and she saw how upset and stressed wife got. CAB did suggest BR as after usual bills, IVA payment, and everything else, their was very little at the end of the month, then claim4ref were after their bit on top of that. Wifes health was considered too. I really do think that she was really close to ending it all, had to take her to the DR for help as she wouldn't go, infact, she wouldn't do anything apart from stay in and sleep, and when she was awake she never spoke much at all. Our marriage was virtually at an end only a few weeks ago, but I think we'll be ok now :)

It might be advisable to try and book in with your CAB guy. I know it may mean putting off your BR for a bit, but it could be the difference between having a large IPA or not..
