Cheers
I think you will find answers to your questions on all things homebrew and what you need here http://www.homebrewhowto.com/general-psp-tutorials/devhook-ultimate-guide-faq-tutorial.html
I think for now though, if you need any more help on anything psp then pm me and we can discuss on yahoo or msn messenger, I really dont want to offend any people on this board by continuing threads off-topic to Tesco mispricing (sorry if these posts have already annoyed people)0 -

Hi people, wonder if anybody could give some advice please on another XBOX saga.
I went into one of my local tesco stores on Friday to buy some tonic water and have a look at the consoles that were on sale to have something to play over the weekend. As the Xbox was on offer with GOTW I decided to buy an xbox and gotw, but didn't get the £20 off advertised on the posters. The manager and manageress admitted that it SHOULD have gone through as £20 off the bundle. But they were absolutely certain that they couldn't give a FULL REFUND of £320 because it was too much for them to authorise, so thet insisted I leave the shop and let them get back to me when they have consulted with Head office as to what to do. So I left the store happy that they thought it was an overcharge, but disappointed they wouldn't honour the r&r policy on the night, as I wanted to play that night and over the weekend, and now owuldn't be able to open the box till after some resolution, monday at the earliest.
So THIS MORNING, having gotten bored of staring at an unopened XBOX package .... I had the bright idea to go to another Tesco nearby to see if they had the same offer on, which they did ! My thinking being I could buy that, get it home and open it and start playing .... then on Monday if the Head office ruled fairly, I could have a second XBox to sell on to a friend or on Ebay, and in the worst case scenario simply take a straight forward refund for the original Xbox package should head office refuse the r&r policy.
HOWEVER .... at the SECOND store .... the offer ALSO failed to kick in !!!!
I was shocked and appauled, and went to speak to various managers about it and they agreed it was an overcharge and that I should get the GAME free .... but I refused on what was a clear overcharge from the price on display on the shelf....just as the policy states!! (The shelf had a slighter larger than normal sign that said "SAVE £20 : When you buy an Xbox 360 or PS2 console with Game of the week" .... which I did). They didn't give the r&r simply because "I'm not going to just give you £300 worth of free stuff" and also because "I don't think it is an overcharge" ... clearly neither of which are valid reasons to: go against store policy; or make any sense, respectively.
SO .... on the first one I must wait till tomorrow to find out whether I can go and get my money back from the first store .... and concurrently must do my own investigation with Head office into why I wasn't issued a refund from the second store, despite them saying that I was overcharged on the game, not the Xbox or the bundle .... just the game (which is what the non-food manager said)....and then the lady who was duty manager said "it is not an overcharge the way I see it" .... which is clealry not true !!
Would anybody have any advice for me going into tomorrow?0 -

As for tomorrow, set your alarm nice and early, I think there may be an overload on the Dundee telephone system!
Good luck.0 -

My! How unlucky you have been. Overcharged in two different stores on the same day!!!Well, hopefully the first store will be told to refund in full by HO without any intervention by you. You will need to ring HO/CS about the second store and explain what happened and what was said, etc. Lay it on thick about company policy and how disgusted you were that the only reasons given for not honouring the policy was the amount of cash involved and the excuse that the discount's on the game only, when it is clearly on the bundle. CS will then ring the second store and tell them to refund you.
Good luck.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I think it might not all be plain sailing tomorrow, we are talking about a hell of a lot of money on this !!!! up. I think HO may well take a different lime tomorrow and some managers are just not going to play ball.
So lets not count our chickens until the r7r is honoured.0 -
Hi Ole,
The way I see it is that if you've been really really lucky finding two stores where the offer is still available!!!
They've admitted that it was an overcharge so stand your ground. Phone CS and get them to sort it out with the store.
Politely stubborn is my attitude.0
