I was buying petrol from Mr T today and thanks to a lovely 5p off voucher (courtesy of r&r) the petrol was 79.9p a litre now thats all fine and dandy - but not free. I totted up the value on a calculator and it was for example £35.47.7 .7 of a pence and I was charged £35.48 - which is more than they advertise, all be it by 0.3p.
What are the chances this is going to work or could this really kill r&r with everyone now trying for free petrol?

After endless reading i am still not sure whether i'm eligible for an r and r.
i've just been in my local tesco to notice 'just cause' is the game of the week on 360 - and the offer still stands on the shelf in a yellow border stating that its 20 off a console when bought with game of the week, expiry date 28th sept.
my question is - do i take the console through the checkout - if it shows no discount - take it to customer services and give them the consumer protection act speal?
does anyone know if this deal is eligible without me going through checkout?
many thanks in advance, apologies, as the penny hasn't quite dropped yet.0 -
powerful_Rogue wrote:Well I took the psp and tekken back to the shop - CS would only give a £29.99 refund for the game. They wouldnt refund the psp. Phoned HO and emailed my receipt off - Just waiting to hear back.
My partner hasnt taken the DS back to the shop yet, shes going straight to HO as it seems a lot easier!
Has your partner at least told the shop she has been overcharged......As HO may think it odd if she hasnt,0 -

By chance it was 43 full litres I bought. Was also thinking it would be vv rare that you would ever be charge a whole round no. of pence for a litre of fuel - I also bet they never round it down0 -

Game of the week is :
Tekken for the PSP
Brain Training for the DS
Just Cause for the Xbox
Brain Training was last weeks GoTW for the DS afaik, so that was out of date POS material at your local store. Makes no difference to your claim though.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

If a price is 0.4 or under then it is rounded down. 0.5 and over and it is rounded up.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -
