Ooh - what's this site, please? - I've googled it but not come up with anything obvious... :( Am happy to be referred if you get a referrer's bonus... :)

I didn't realise it was an invitation only one. Would refer you if I could! Not sure why/how I was invited -probably from one of the the many many other sites I'm signed up to I would guess!

You basically have to get up to 50 points a month to automatically get the £5 Amazon voucher at the end of the month. You get 1 point for doing a Quick poll, 3 points for commenting on a Brainstorm discussion or a 'Quick Thought'. So dead easy, and there's some interesting duscussions going on too! I might try and put in a bit more time to it as 'Up to 20 members will be nominated by the Think Tank and the moderators as a Featured Advisor for an extra reward of £10', so may be worth it.

Had some nice Will-Be-Free shopping delivered from a supermarket today courtesy of a Mystery Shop. For Mystery Shopping though I think I will add the money when I actually get paid for it. (Don't know why seeing as all the other bits I'm doing straight away as I go!?!). But that will be an extra £25 to add, as we would have had to spend it on the weekly shop anyway. I won't add the delivery charge reimbursement though obvs.

Monkey don't forget with the mystery shopping to take off your self employed tax too.

You'll be fine! They will get loads of calls every day so they won't even be wondering are you /aren't you a Mystery Shopper.
I did my second one yesterday, although it was a Home Delivery one so I felt more natural because I was in my own home, but I wasn't really nervous about it. Although I did like the fact that I could spy on them out of my window while they were unloading my shopping and had their descriptions written down before I'd even answered the door which was handy!

Good Luck! Let us know how it goes! :)

Oooh yes, thanks I wouldn't have thought of that for here. Although this particular one there was no actual fee, just the reimbursement, so that would count as expenses which wouldn't be taxed.
Still need to register for all the Tax malarky though, will jump on that today while it's in my head or time will wizz by and I don't want to get a penalty for not doing it within the 3 months. I think I'll have to phone them because I can't find the exact info I need with regards to how it all works when I'm on Maternity Leave as I still have until the end of November getting Statutory Maternity Pay, then 1 month getting nothing, then back to work?!?!

  • Hi all

Cna you please add me in for September at £10 a day. Just went to an expensive wedding and want to start saving for a holiday for my BF's 30th birthday in May. He has done a lot for me, loaning me the money to pay off my credit cards out of his house deposit, so I dont have to pay interest. So I want to do something really nice for him and the moneys gotta come from somewhere, so I am feeling really motivated at the moment.

Got a pair of near new straighteners today with just a slight bit of cosmetic damage (the + button for the temperature is slightly worn and that's it!) for £6.82, saving of £18.17 from buying them brand new for £24.99 :)
