Job Interview... Monday....

  • What a coincidence!!:j
I've applied for an Area Trainer Job - with T-mobile. I've worked for the company for 4 years will be 5 in May!!

I've never applied for a similar position, but i believe this is my chance to get my foot in the door. I've spoken to the lady recruiting in HR and we had a really nice conversation. My store manager and area manager have nominated me for the role. I've just graduated from uni and am full of enthusiasm and i REALLY want this job

Does anyone have any top tips for the interview... or maybe things i should mention on the interview to make me shine

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL MAY WE ALL BE DEBT FREE!!

Good Luck, K9 - fingers crossed for you here!:D

You obviously know your stuff and are well prepared, so I would just say take a deep breath, and concentrate on remaining calm during the interview. Focus on speaking slowly (what seems very slow to you when you are listening to yourself in your head sounds "normal" to those listening "outside" your head and is better than "gabbling"!!:p). When you are asked questions, take a moment to think before answering (in order to avoid the "um, ah" thing:o), but apart from that, just be yourself!

Take things slowly and you will appear positive, in control, and self-confident...and if you believe in yourself, it will be easier to make others do it, too! Just remember - they would be lucky to have you on their team, so, if they are lucky, they will offer you this job...and you will accept it!!;)

Sending you positive vibes and oodles of luck!!:T

oooo well done. Now fingers crossed for the overnight wait! Get yourself a nice relaxing drink, put your feet up and have a great evening.
  • Sounds like it went really well! Hope you let us know the outcome. :)

If you are unlucky enough to be 'pipped at the post', don't forget to ask for FEEDBACK from the interview. It's a pain for employers to do this, but they will appreciate you asking for it, and you can learn from it for the next time. (But I've got everything crossed - hopefully there won't BE a next time! :D)
