Santander application - Have I been accepted?

...Well still haven't received the Santander email yet. I'm guessing with the bank holiday I probably won't hear anything back now until Tuesday at the earliest.
Quidco cashback is not tracking yet either so unlikely they have even looked at my Application yet.
What is annoying is at the top of my webmail account is the Santander £100 switch advert banner. Wondering if they have too many applications to process along with all the other complaints/switching and migration issues. Feel like I'm on a mission now (if i'm accepted) to ensure I get my £135.0 -

I did exactly the same as you - although I never received an email from Santander, but the account was opend after a wait of about 2 weeks. I had to submit an earnings query to quidco too. I now wait progress on the £100 and the £35...0 -

How did you find out the account had been opened?
Did they send you a letter or call you? I've set switch to take place in September but don't want to mess up my wages/Direct Debits as the costs would work out much more than £135.
As for QuidCo, this is the first time I have waited more than 48 hours for Tracking to show up. Think I'll have the same problem as you0 -

I went to the contact us section of the Santander website where you can request an update on your application - this prompted a customer services email within a day or two saying the account had been opened. Being the internet, I was a little dubious about the email (just in case) - the first real evidence was when the PINS/card arrived at home. I never got a written letter saying welcome to Santander or whatever, I just got the account info.0 -

Great thanks, on your advice I have just checked their contact us and sure enough it gives more details on the Santander website:
"It can take up to five working days from the date you applied to receive an email from Santander. Remember ‘working days’ do not include Bank Holidays and weekends."
Looks like another 3 days then. Oh well, I feel better about things now, normally things like this go "missing" with me hence why I was getting worried...I'll wait with Quidco until I get confirmation from Santander too

I have been waiting for my £100 incentive since November 2009 so good luck! They try to get out of paying it by saying you didn't meet the criteria, I do meet it and so does my husband! Will take it further and then transfer to a bank with a decent reputation. :mad:0

Me and Mrs Selby applied for an account, having add enough of Natwest, never received an email back, but called them yesterday to say account was open, but no further detail.
All we can do is wait.0 -
Its all sounding very weird to me - yet they have just this minute been running another TV Advert for £100 switch!!!mrandmrsselby wrote: »Me and Mrs Selby applied for an account, having add enough of Natwest, never received an email back, but called them yesterday to say account was open, but no further detail.
