I always read in the loo, and when in the bath - it's the only chance I get for some 'me' time!!!!!0
-
Just thought of another example, which still makes me giggle!!!! A client once visited work, picked up a magazine and disappeared to the loo for about 15 minutes!!!! I was sort of disgusted as it was at work, but good on him for being so blatant!!!!0

I would usually read while on the loo but last night I was caught unawares and had violent diarrhoea. It was all I could do to stop myself crying like a little girl.0

Urghhhhhhhhhhh I could not imagine reading a newspaper after someone has read it before me while sitting getting a sh1te.:eek:0 -
For ages we had "poo books" in the bathroom. Books like the New Scientist trivia books, QI books, Schott's Almanac and the like. But the books pages began to go yellow as we kept them on the shelf by the window, so the sun was damaging them, so we need to think of a better solution. Good morning: as a plumber, my OH sees all sorts in people's loos...not just magazines, newspapers and books (appealing to a range of audiences:eek:) but also radios, TVs, games (electronic and otherwise), grocery lists, invoices, assorted documents etc...guess lots of folks prefer to multitask;)

I'm female and I read whilst on the loo (at home, not at work). Usually I take a copy of Viz with me as it seems to be the most appropriate!Who ate all the Pecan Sandies?0

How disgusting. If you want to read a book or a newpaper you have a nice comfortable chair in the lounge, the kitchen, the bedroom, anywhere to read - not the toilet!! Why on earth do people want to sit on top their smelly waste reading on a hard toilet seat? There are some strange people in this world.0

I put the items I am reading down before I finish and pick them up when I have washed and dried my hands. All you hygiene freaks need to think of your waist bands - I mean you have to pull up your clothes before you've washed your hands!!0
