Hi
I submitted my first cashback redemption over 3 months ago but looked like the cheque was lost in the post as I never got it although e2save say they have sent it.
They asked me to wait for 2 months as they can reissue a cheque only after 2 months.
So I waited for 2 months and they finally agreed to reissue a cheque but said it will take anytime between 60 to 80 days further.
I think this is unacceptable and I wanted to know if I can complain or write to their customer service to expedite the case as I ve read a few posts which say it works if they are threatened with legal action.
Any ideas anyone
Whats their customer service address as I cannot find it on their site?0 -
Your name, address/e-mail address should be at the top left of the bill they send you via e-mail, it will be an attachment as a html file, you can view this in your browser.jane45 wrote:I printed it out from the website and although it has phone number and account number on there it doesnt have name and address.

I eventually got my first chequeback from CPWH and am currently chasing my second.
You have to keep on their backs. I recommend that you post a copy to the address on their website:
http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?ARTICLE=MAIN.UK.INTERNET.TERMS.CHEQUEBACKOFFERS.MAIN
Then post a copy to the address shown when you click (from the above page) on the month you bought your phone. In my case, this address was different to the one shown on the page above.
Then fax a copy to the number that they give you when you call and ask them about it.
Then you have to keep phoning them and nagging them every couple of weeks until you get your cheque in your hand.
With me, they claimed not to have got it the first time I sent it, or the first time I faxed it. Then they told me the cheque was being processed. Then when i called again, they told me that as I had called, they would now generate the cheque (i.e. depsite receiving and logging my chequeback request they had done nothing about it till i called again).
So in all it took two letters, one fax, and about five phone calls.
Wonderful service, eh?0 -
Hi, I just took out a contract from CPW this week, a U-Fix contract costing 10 quid/month after chequeback. Thing is, I'm not sure which address to send the claims to when the time comes.
The welcome pack gives me an address in Wednesbury: 'REDEMPTIONS', The Carphone Warehouse, PO Box 4259, Wednesbury WS10 7WZ
But on the website the address is:
Chequebacks
The Carphone Warehouse
P.O. BOX 4311
Dunstable
LU6 9BJ
So which one is correct? I bought the contract in a CPW store. I am intending to use Special Delivery to send my claims so sending two is (obviously) a significant cost.0 -

The Dunstable address is the right one.0
