Carphone Warehouse - Chequeback address

Hi there

I recently sent my 4th month bill for redemption to carphone warehouse at the address stated on the both chequeback letter and on the website
Po Box 4259
Wednesbury
WS10 7WZ

Since i have not received the text from them I gave them a call today but the operator told me thatg I should be sending it to a different address (had it written down but dont have it to hand)

Has anyone recently sent any chequeback claims to Carphone warehouse?
if so what address have u sent it to ?
Have you received an automated text from them to confirm receipt?

  • But I thought CPW had quite a good name in the market..
    When I asked the operator how am I supposed to know abt this new address as it was not published anywhere he rudely said I am telling you now.
  • Just type into Google 'complaints onestopphoneshop or carphonewarehouse' and take your pick!!!! Wish I had before I purchased.

    that is the address that is on their website for chequebacks. I recently faxed a copy of my 4th airtime bill. I asked for a confirmation text but didnt receive one. I rang redemptions about 4 days later and they confirmed that they had received it and that I should receive my chequeback in about 10 days. That was 9 days ago now so heres hoping.

    i wrote the number down from a search on this forum. the fax no is 07092870782. And the number I called to see if they had received it was 0870870168 then option 2. I will be ringing them again on Monday if my chequeback hasnt arrived by then.

    If you register with mycarphonewarehouse.com, there is an email link where you can specify the subject as "Redemptions and cashback". Having sent my vouchers and bill in about 10 days ago, I requested confirmation that they had been received. I had a text directly to my mobile with confirmation within 24 hours.
    "Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • I rang again today to see where my chequeback was and was told that they hadnt received my fax and that they had no record of me ringing on the 12th to enquire about it. The number I rang today was 02890576597. So I will be once again faxing my bill and hope that I have more luck this time. I also said that it was now out of the 60 day time limit but the lady on the phone said there isnt a time limit!!
