+1I'd rather be on a motorway than a single track road
I'd rather like to see a feature in Sat Navs which will avoid single track roads.
On my holidays in Cornwall/Devon/Wales, I've often been pushed into single track roads by my sat nav.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
I use a map so it's my decision what roads I use.Happy chappy0

How do you use one whilst you're driving?
10 gig memory? or stop at every other junction to check???
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Memorise the main details, occasionally stop to look, sometimes take a sneaky look as driving.cyclonebri1 wrote: »How do you use one whilst you're driving?

I've never gone down a single track road while following my satnav unless I wanted to.
You are free to ignore directions it gives you, or tell it "avoid the next 1/4 mile" and then it will choose a different road.0 -

But, not all Sat Nav users are as savvy as you, many would drive in the ocean if it told them to.:D0
