Disadvantages with the above suggestion include the fact that sending excrement by post is illegal

I had in mind that you prepare the packet at home rather than whip down your trousers while at the local Post Ofice. So they wont know what you are shipping.
I cant really see anyone running DNA tests to see who posted a turd.
I cant see how its illegal either - http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?catId=400044&mediaId=4002550 -
Guess it depends on how you feel about breaking the law

I cant see that it is breaking the law - what law did you have in mind?
There are several commercial companies that will mail your chosen victim a turd (of various types) if you dont want to do it yourself.

Ok.. perhaps not illegal, but I think excrement is covered here, under 'Filth...
Foul or disgusting material'

and here under 'Filth'

Thats Parcelfarce, not Royal Mail.
Just because they wont ship it doesnt make it illegal. What I wanted to know is IF its illegal then under what law? Anyone know?0 -

Please refer to first line of my post above.
OKAY - so you didnt actually know if it was illegal - you just claimed it was.
So as far as you know then all you have to worry about is the post office 'disposing' of it if they find it.
Similar items have always succesfully tracked as delivered for me on the Royal Mail site, so I dont think its a major problem. I dont think Royal Mail have widely deployed crap detectors across their network just yet. Just make sure you seal the bag as per my instructions.0 -

Indeed - I believed it was. I still don't know for sure that it's not, but as you can see, I've qualified my original post.My TV is broken!
