Quidco & Vodafone... good at giving cashback?

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has purchased a 12 month sim only contract via quidco on vodafone, and if so who received their cashback?

Reason I ask is Ive heard mixed things and the negative ones seem to say they just dont pay. Its very important to me, as if they dont then I will get one through another provider.

Any feedback would be great :-)

They can be very slow, I've only used them once and it took 2 years to pay out.

I ordered a sim-only deal in November 2009. Validated April 2101. Still waiting!

Quidco are hopeless in chasing it up and couldn't seem to care. I have a thread running on this subject with the sort of replies I got from them.

What really irks me is Quidco's refusal to change Voda's rating from "FAST" to something realistic.

I would try Topcash who use different paying agents and also consider O2 rather than Voda. You may be offered less cashback, but you stand a better chance of getting it.

my thoughts precisely based ont he feedback i have heard, fairness where its due though it appears to be a vodafone issue not a cashback websites, they just refuse to acknoledge the transaction. O2 seem to be much better. Ive just been a customer with Voda for many years and know their signal is great in my area, ive been on o2s service checker and it claims to also have good signal in my area, but i also cant refuse vodafones 97.8% uk coverage claim! this is going to be a hard choice...

I agree that it is a Vodafone issue as their paying agents seem to have real problems - the ones that haven't gone bust that is!

But I do blame Quidco for not being honest about the payment stats. To still classify them as Fast payers is absolute rubbish and misleading.

Look at Topcash. They may use different Voda paying agents , I just don't know. Also look at where the masts are in your area. That may give you a clue as to whether you are likely to get a good signal from O2. I have always found O2 and Voda to be much of a muchness and, regrettably, better than Orange in my house.

Any cashback before December 19th will not be honored as the affiliate handling the monies went bust (see here).

As a rough guide I just had a transaction set to "received" today which was made in March.

Not necessarily so. There was more than one affiliate and the others have not gone to the wall. I have that in writing from Quidco and my November claim is not being handled by the one that went bust.

Mine tracked on 18th March 09 and i was paid on the 28th May 09 for a sim only deal.

Have had 2 contracts through Quico in last year and got paid on both ok after about 3 months.
