Awful company - ordered some Leeds Festival tickets, Reading ones arrived instead. ordered early bird tickets to get to the festival on Wed at 6pm.........no sign of tickets.

Was told on 4 different when tickets might come so took 4 days off work..........lost wages, panic and sat at home venting my frustration.....have been trying to call all day, but no one answers and costs 10p per minute as well

    THANKS SEE TICKETS !!!!
  • I am sure that everyone will be buying their presale tickets for Leeds and Reading fetsivals from See today :eek:They couldn't get them out this year after buying a year in advance :o

i use seetickets loads. its hard not too with so many fake ticket companies out there, plus there arent many companies that do sell legit reading/leeds/glasto tickets. i've never had a problem with them though, except a few tickets arriving on my doormat when they should've be signed for. even this year my presale reading and early entry tickets arrived with enough time for my mum to forward them to me at my uni place.

fair enough to the comments of bad customer service on thier phone lines, but i think you have to give them a little slack with big events like festivals where they have hundreds of thousands of tickets to dispatch. in my experience i've found the reason why they often leave it so late to the event is to a. reduce the chances of ticket touts/resale and b. because they have to wait for the event organiser to provide them with the tickets to begin with.

I too have never had problems with SEE in fact, have always found them efficient and helpful. They send tickets out late (As do most other companies) to help cut down on touting, I've always had mine in time and on 1 occasion they did not receive their stock in time, the contacted me to tell me to collect from the box office and reimbursed my P&P. Again, was no problem. They are a genuine company, and a big one at that so bound to get some grumbles if you look on google. However, I would recommed people use SEE rather than www.buyticketsfromsomestupidtout.com or the likes.
  • See Tickets are a nightmare. I have bought tickets from them in the past and they always turned up very late, then when you phone their customer services they charge you preimum rates and are useless.

I stopped using them when some tickets never ever arrived I could not get through to them and ended up having to buy tickets off ebay, despite being bought 6 months before. I got my money back from my credit card by charging back See tickets, and have never used them ever agin.

I also know several friends who have had problems with them. I have always believed that when you buy something you get it as quickly as possible, not by causing customers loads of aggravation and ripping people off.

    You have been warned!

PS tiny_courageous, it is blatant you are a See tickets employee!!

I've used see on a few occasions as sometime it's the only way to get tickets when Ticketmaster have run out. They may be a legit company but they are shambolic at sending out tickets in a timely manner. Although you may say give them some leeway for big events like festivals, I say why? Why should we it's their job, a job they don't do to well on on the smaller events let alone the big ones. And if you cant do your job properly, well then, you just shouldn't be doing that job! Ticketmaster always seem to get it right so why not SeeTickets? I had to collect my tickets from the box office for a comedy night at a tiny venue about a year ago, when I rang on the morning of the show to find out where my tickets were they informed me that they couldn't deliver the tickets but I could collect them, but when i turned up at the show the box office knew nothing about it. I had to get the manager of the venue, who was lovely as it happened and let me in with no problem as the seats were empty and the show had been on for 15 Min's already so it was obvious I was suppose to be there. But even so.
After this years Leeds mess and not being able to take advantage of my early bird ticket I didn't recieve I will never use that company again. To much stress involved.

  • Ouch. I think I read something in the Y.E.P about the delays for Leeds Fest. Not had any problems with See myself. In fact I think that's where my Glastonbury tickets came from.

Very worrying though in reading the above especially making people go and collect their tickets. Normally with festival tickets you have to pay a ridiculous £10 postage and they're not even posting them!

I've just been to V Festival and got my tickets through Ticketmaster. I receieved constant email updates and even a text to say they were on their way. Couldn't fault them.
  • I've ordered some tickets through See tickets for an event in December, they were the only recommended company with half decent tickets left... I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that something comes through the post... Or at the very worst we queue at the box office and they have some tickets for us!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I have been to ALOT of concerts/shows over the past couple of years, and when I can I've bought from SeeTickets, and I've never had a problem!

The problem with Reading/Leeds is the amount of people going to them, the company try and send the tickets out late (when they get hold of them) but it helps as you tend to not lose your ticket, rather than get tickets months in advance and losing them (and not being able to replace them)

SeeTickets and Ticketmaster are the biggest 2 ticket agencies in the UK, so I wouldn't expect them running a scam of some sort

Absolute nonsense. Ticketmaster manage to get it right every time. I didn't hear stories in the papers or radio about them failing to send out their allocation for big events, it is always See Tickets.

If you are a complete muppet who is unable to look after a couple of tickets for a few weeks or months then just put box office collection when you buy them!

I have just read that they still haven't sent out thousands of Muse tickets
    for Wembley next week, unbelievable!
