    Hi,

Not been on here for a long while but just wanted to say i have still been lurking and all the BFP from the 'older'(not age) TTC's theres hope for us all.

It will be 1 year in may since i started TTC - i havent been posting as the mental (im not a loony) effect it has, has been unbelievable. I like other didnt think that i would be trying this amount of time and from the start we told our familys all they have been saying is oh arent you pregnant etc...so anyway tried the relax, tried the temping nothing has worked. i do think that we arent trying enough although people have one night stands all the time and it happens for them.
i went the the doctors at the start of this month and it was a locum (not quite sure if thats a good thing or a bad one) i think he felt sorry for me really as i was really nervous and thought to myself i cant cry well my voice was quirvering as i was explaining myself so he has booked me in for blood tests next week to see if i am ovaulating - not quite sure what happens after that but we will see.....

just wanted to check in on you guys :)

As far as the name goes, everyone always thinks I am some terrible embittered soul, post divorce! In fact it is the title of my favourite book - "Divorcing Jack" by a guy called Colin Bateman. He was a journalist in my home town in Northern Ireland and his books are hilarious. Very black humour, but if that's your thing, you should definitely give it a go. "Divorcing jack" was make into a film as well - worth a watch of a Friday evening.
Ahh nice one :D Might have to check out those books too ;) I've run out of book inspiration/decent books to read

    Yep!:j Hope it leads to a baby:happyhear
Wow. I don't know how you manage tbh! You both must be knackered all the time?! Don't you travel to the States for work too?? That's a lot of obstacles to get round, but I have every faith you guys will manage :D
Not to the states, but DH travels all over asia & middle east. Me, I travel Europe (and Singapore:p).
Do you mind me asking how old you are QQ? You could just say a ballpark figure like late 30s or early 40s or whatever if you like?
Reaaaaally late 30s. Will reach the big 40 soon:o
Would like to be pg before I reach 40:cool:

I've no idea what's going on myself Keza, I know how you feel. I've never had mid-cycle spotting before, so this is really odd. I was convinced AF would turn up last night/this morn...we'll see I guess? *shrug*
Good luck for the morning! Though looking at your FF (and I'm no expert!) it seems your temp is dropping for AF? :o

Perhaps you are not quite ov'ing yet, but close:)

Here's hoping! I will BD tonight just in case :) I almost wish I hadn't done so much research now as it's just confusing me more! How do all those teenagers get preggers whilst not knowing their cervical position?!

That serves me right for "congratulating" you on CD1! Hope everything is a bit clearer tomorrow. Hugs

He's done a load of books - all pretty good. If you like that kind of stuff, I would also heartily recommend anything by Christopher Brookmyre - Scottish author, very clever and funny. I am reading obsessed, so I'd be interested to swop recommendations! I'm very into books about the economic situation at the moment - my amazon wishlist looks like Robert Peston wrote it!

hmmmm, i know this isn't a ttc question, but i've noticed today that i've got some small red spots/bumps on my upper, outer thigh, just below hips. Thought it was a heat rash this morning, but its still there.
Wandering if its a rash/allergic reaction to something. Not itchy at all. Taking vit b complex and pregnacare together is fine hey, not too much of a certain vitamin?

Will just keep an eye on it, apply some cream to moisterise the area tonight.....
