    I got a BFP!!!! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!!
    :j:D:j
    :T CONGRATULATIONS!!:T
Unfortunately everyone going is a Dr (either medical or scientific) and they all know exactly what you can and can't drink with (and there are very few medicines which you can't drink with anyway) and exactly what condition you would be prescribed that medication for. I know this sounds a bit silly but I don't think I could lie anyway. I can not tell the entire truth but I couldn't say I'm on tablets when I'm not (I also have no actual tablets to take and will be sharing a room with loads of the girls who may notice this fact).

To be honest though after not too long I imagine everyone there will be so drunk they won't even notice if I am drinking or not!
Metronidazole - is taken for dental abcesses and the like - and you definitely CANNOT drink with those. Other than that, tell them you've taken painkillers, so can't drink til they've worn off, and by that time they'll all be smashed ;)

    Good luck!

I've lost another 5lbs, making it 11lbs now, which also means I've dropped a BMI point :D Am I allowed a 3/4st lost announcement, seeing as I skipped past the 1/2st mark? :D:p

Got gynae today for the results of my hormone blood test...

Haha I like it. I did think about metronidazole actually, and you can't drink for a couple of days after finishing the course so my lack of tablets wouldn't be an issue. Though to be honest that won't stop them all thinking it's an excuse and that I'm PG really!

Is it bad then that I've always washed down my painkillers with alcohol? Never done me any harm (though a lot of others might disagree with that!)

I'm really fussy about what I drink - I don't like beer, wine or cider so I think I'll take some spirits and mixers that I like and then I'll mix my own drinks with 1ml of spirit in the bottom of the glass and then a full glass of mixer. No questions then, plus technically I am actually drinking, so I'm not telling any fibs to anyone.

I haven't read back yet as it's one of those crazy work week this week, but will be back to normal operations mid next week:o

My cold is OK, just TMI runny nose which could have been easily remedied with Contac, but as TTC:p can't take anything, so have to bear it:o Temps are still high, but my bedroom is facing east, and it was very warm this morning:p

Hope it gets better soon. Honey and lemon in the meantime? Might make you feel a little better.

Tut tut QQ! I am sure you're body is clever enough to be able to maintain your body temperature ok, despite it being warm in your bedroom! Less excuses lady :p

Bah defo CD1. Last time I make a post about lack of AF. I'm also clearly a nutter with all those "symptoms" in my head! Still on the plus side with every month I am getting to know my body again after 12 years on the pill which can only be a good thing.

Well done bigzippy, that's an awful lot of weight to loose, you'll have to change your username to littlezippy soon!

Can I ask a cycle question please?

I think I had EWCM on CD9 which would give me decent LP if I come on tomorrow like I think I will (CD22). However, I did Opk's from CD12 to 15 and got positives on 13 and 14.

Do you think I ov'd on day 8? Is it possible to get positive opk's after ov? And do you normally get two in a row? They were very clear positives with clear surge and fall...

Sorry for all the questions-I'm trying to convince myself I don't have a crazy cycle!

Derby, I would guess that you ov CD14 onwards according to opk's. If they were fiant lines and getting stronger after ov I would suggest PG but to have a clear surge like that would suggest ov to me. Is it possible that you ov'd later then you thought?

    (HUGS) colli, here's to a 2012 bubs :)

WOW well done on the weight loss Bigzippy :) what an achievement

Aaaah, you're all a bunch of softies on here ;)

I'm due to test around 12th April, but remembered I'd be crossing the time/date line on the plane, so may do a sneaky on on the 11th. Shhh:shhh:
    Oooooooooooh, exciting :j

You could have the same birthday!:j
Ha ha, that would be so cool

QQ would you put on the list that I used conceive plus please?

Q - stop being such a pessimist!! :p I am convinced that you (and I - please!!) should join the old-timer TTCers on that grad list....:D

That would be so fab :j

(((Hugs))) to Colli, and anyone else the witch got. Sorry if I forgot you, all the excitement has meant severe lack of sleep so I'm slightly delirious tonight. Early night methinks :D

OH has told 2 of his friends today whilst I'm too worried to tell anyone until I've done at least one more test. I thought I would be the one telling everyone and that he would be more reserved, although I guess I've told half of the UK on here :rotfl:

I had a panic this afternoon as I felt damp 'down there', I thought it felt like AF, so made a mad dash to the loo and breathed a hoooooge sigh of relief.

Who is next on the testing list?

Hi, Hope you dont mind me popping back but I have a question!!

I had my miscarriage last month and I have had my af and am on CD10 I am still bleeding an odd bit but just brown stringy(TMI sorry).I did an OPK The smilie ones and it showed positive. The time before I got pregnant I had a positive on day 16.Could it be possible that I am ovulating or could it be that I might still have pregnancy hormones still that I would get a positive opk
