I don't really know TBH it was GG told me to get my @ss in gear, I didn't even realise I was well over my DPO and I've been so pre-occupied with my college app and work I hadn't even thought!!! I've been having the strangest feeling the last few days like AF pains but I knew they weren't because they were different!!!! More like stretching IYSWIM!!!
Was bursting for the toilet so got up with DH while he was getting ready for work said should we do a test!!!! So I pee'ed used my last IC sat by myself in the toilet and then I saw the line come through, I had to run in and ask him if it was really there!!! It was and so I did a tesco test!!! The line on the cheapy was darker than the tesco 1!!!! their def there though!!!! I oened uo the bathroom door to be greated by 2 HUGE presents from Connor!!!! Which I slipped in!!! LOL!!!!! So I played the not in my condition card!!! Haha!!! so DH cleared it up and I said it was good practice for future!!!! Haha!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

I love the presents from Connor. How many DPO are you? What was your OH's reaction?
Mine is defo a boy, I've thought all month if I get pg this month it will be a boy, and both my sisters have requested a boy as they have 3 girls between them. A girl would be more cost effective for me because of all the hand me downs, but I'll just be glad to get through the next 8 months
OMG!!! I'm so excitied for you.
GG strikes again
Hoping this month brings lots of BFPs for the long standing ttc'ers (I mean that in the nicest possible way to the newbies).0 -

He's got a huge grin on his face (like thisand me) and he left for work half an hour late!!! But his lift I think may have sussed why he's late!!!! :rotfl:

I still can't believe it either. I keep checking the loo roll every time I go to the loo and I'm now totally paranoid that either the test is wrong, or something will go wrong.
As fr keeping it quiet, there was no chance of that. I managed to not tell my family all day yesterday, and even sat for an hour or so with 2 of my sisters and their kids talking abut my appointment with the fertility clinic and what happens next :rotfl:
But once I had told DH, I had to tell my mam and sisters, and then DH had to tell his parents to keep it fair
I'm going to do another test at the weekend, then will tell my managers, due to the nature of my job. One of my managers is my best mate as well
Other than that I think DH will want to tell his friends when we visit them Scotland at the end of the month. They are a lovely couple who have been long standing friends and we don't see them very often, so I think he will want to tell them in person.
I'd like to keep it as quiet as possible, although you wouldn't guess so from the amount of people we told within the first 12 hours :rotfl:
but I have a lot of good friends at work and I think they might guess when I am on lighter duties. Although I've had bad sciatica and could hardly walk last week so that might buy me a few weeks.
What about you, who are you going to tell?0 -

I'm gonna tell everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll tell my mum and dad, don't think I could wait until 12 week scan and DH's mum!!!
The only thing is his mum will think we've kept it from her even though we didn't know as I had bought Connor a grandma card for mothers day and she assumed we had some news for her!!! I had been sulking all day as I wanted a mother card from Connor but DH being DH didn't even think of that and now it turns out I should have got 1 for obvious reasons!!!! :rotfl:
I'll have to tell my sisters aswell of course 2 of them live with my mum and she canny hold her ane watter as we say here in Scotland!!! Oh you have to come see me when your here!!! We can compare bumps!!!! Oooh still can't believe it!!!
I'm the same with my work and as soon as I get taken out of 1 of my girls services its going to be so obvious to everyone that I am as I've been there since I started but she can present some challenging behaviour so no pregnant women allowed!!! Did I just say that??? Pregnant women!!! :T:eek::T:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil
