Aww MASSIVE CONGRATS to WW :D and anyone else I've missed?

Well sorry I haven't been here for a while but here's my story so far........
..........I am still having dizzy spells, slight nausea and retching sometimes, very frequent urinating, blue veins on boobs and milk ducts showing up on nipples and this afternoon my period came back a week after I had come off it - again!! I am completely baffled! My coil is being removed on Friday - dreading it but can't wait to get rid of it! I'm wondering if it's the coil causing all of this or if it's trying to fool my body into thinking I'm pregnant? Or it could be pre menopause? Or indeed pregnancy but I don't think so?
The bottom line is I just want to know what's going on :(

Hope everyone is healthy and happy :)

Usually between 29 and 31 days.

Just be catching doing pregnancy tests in strange places, I found a pregnancy kit in our toilet bin at work today, the longest it can have been there is a week. So just using my powers of deduction to work out who it is as we have had a quiet week and there haven't been many women come through our little Sports Club.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

  • Thanks everyone for the congratulations, and QQ for the announcement :D I've wanted one of them for so long!! It's also nice to see some of the graduates popping back on too ;) Good luck Teenie and I hope all is well with you Pawpurrs.

Well I'm still in total shock and it hasn't sunk in. I've walked around in a tiz today and when I got home I realised I still had me pot of wee in my bag :rotfl:

I've kept the news to myself all day as OH was on an early start and I didn't want to text the news. He had no idea that I even had a tlp yesterday and I've been mentioning the past few days that I feel like AF is on her way, so when I told him tonight it was a total shock.

I went to my sister's after work and my niece had made an Easter basket with a chick inside that she gave to me. My other sister also gave me some wine for looking after her dog last week.

So when I got home I put the digi test in the basket with the Easter chick.

When OH arrived home I showed him the wine from my sister and he said we can't have that tonight as we've got things to do, so I said I can't have it for the next 9 months and he just stared at me with a puzzled look. So I gave him the Easter basket and said I know it isn't a stork but the Easter chick has brought you something. he pulled the test out and said 'Does that mean you're pregnant?' When I said yes he just stood there shell shocked. I had to ask him if he was ok, he said 'I'm pleased for you.' I asked if he was pleased and he said he was scared :smileyhea

I think it took him a while for it to sink in, he kept picking the test up and saying stuff like 'Eeeeh you're up the duff!' then 'you won't be able to do such and such at work anymore' and 'you can't lift shopping bags you know' :D I've told him I'm spending the next 9 months lying on the sofa :rotfl:

We went out in the van and he was checking my seatbelt wasn't too tight :happyhear

There is no way I could not tell my mam and sisters, so we sent them a photo of the digi test and they've been on the phone crying. They knew we were ttc so were surprised but pleased.

OH also sent it to his parents, and they are gobsmacked as they didn't know we were trying.

I've had no pg symptoms so far and have genuinely had pre AF symptoms so I was convinced I was out this month. I thought I would know or I would feel different somehow.

There are only two things that I think we did differently this month, number one: we took the laid back approach, no opks, no robitussens, no grapefruit juice etc. We just bd'd a couple of times before I expected to ov (based on my notes I've kept for the past 10 months as to cycle length etc) I expected to ov between CD14 and 16 so we bd'd CD13 and 15.

The other thing that was different was that I had an internal scan about 5 days before expected ov and the Dr told me that my left ovary was developing the egg this month, so after bd'ing I lay on my left side.

Today has been so exciting, but it doesn't feel real. I keep going to the loo every half hour to check for AF. I'm over the moon, but need to do another test at the weekend before it will feel real. Plus there is a long way to go yet .......

Oh, just remembered after AF last month we booked a holiday for September. Just checked the Easyjet website and after 27 weeks you need a medical certificate to fly. I'll be 29 weeks, so I'll just HAVE to have a healthy pregnancy :) I'm sure they used to let you fly up to 30 weeks without a certificate :(
