I've been bottling it up for too long, and it causes me to resent her and stay angry. So, although I'm terrified, I've found the courage to let her know how I was feeling and why etc, so that the air can be cleared and we can move on. Also invited her to tell me anything that she is holding onto and wants to get off her chest.
Now I just have to wait for the response.

Wish I had the courage to do that, but will have to wait a little longer - said friend is my bridesmaid!
I *think* we've decided on a TTC strategy. Well, saying that, I haven't actually discussed it with OH yet :rotfl: My implant is due to come out next July, so we'd previously agreed that we would start trying then. But I'd quite like to have it taken out later this year in December so that I can get the hormones out of my system and find out what my normal cycle is like. So between Dec-Jul we're NTNP.
I mentioned to my two best friends that we're thinking of trying next year. One is happy for us. The other said "I'd better persuade DH to try before that then" Can you believe she's turning it into a race / competition?
When people (i.e. my brother) ask when we're going to have a baby, I always reply with "definitely not in the next nine months"Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Been out Gardening and come back and look at you lot gasbags!
Firstly Portsmirth ali I am so sorry it has happened again, massive hugs and please be kind to yourself. Kelly its asprin not paacetemol, its because it acts as a blood thinner, and its thought that some miscarriages are due to blood clotting, here read this

I would have been due May 10th, so will be very, very sad if not pregnant by my due date.
Ali I hope they find an obvious reason for you thats treatable, but be aware quite often there is no satisfactory reason, but and I know it doesnt make it better, woman who have recurrent miscarriages most do go on to have healthy babas, do you have children allready?
I am worried about a friend at work, she has had three m/c and is at 9 weeks at the moment (normally when she has a m/c and she was so worried at work last week, keeping my fingers crossed this bean is sticky for her, she has had one healthy baba though.

Well it's taken quite a few therapy sessions and a bit of a meltdown on Friday to get me there! lol
There were other things upsetting me on Friday too, of course, but this is on the smaller problems/discussions that I feel is easier for me to have (compared to some others). For example, I have the same problem with another close friend, and really need to talk to her about it too, but I can't find the courage to do that today. Out of both of them, she is the most likely to either a) end the friendship or b) just agree with everything I say, but then nothing changes.
I think I find option b harder to deal with. At least if she's honest with me, and tells me she disagrees, or she can't act how I'd like her too, I would know where I stand and stop looking for support in the wrong place. Whereas, with the 'yes, you're right, I'm sorry, things will be better now' response, which is soon followed by inaction, I kinda feel like she's just keeping me around to support her, with no intention of reciprocating. That makes me feel used.
I could be wrong. I could be completely misunderstanding, but as she barely talks to me (and I mean properly talk - not tell me about last night's telly), I have no idea what causes her to behave this way.
I should just bite the bullet and get on with it.
When are you getting married? Does she have to be bridesmaid? If not, you could try clearing the air and have someone else as bridesmaid if it all goes a bit pear shaped.
Can't believe the other comment though! Crikey, I think I would've just said 'Why? Are we in a race?' just to let her know that I am not bothered who gets pregnant first.
Edit: My friend replied to say she isn't offended, and will respond properly after work.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Beth ~ Learning about natural family planning might help you too! It can go both ways to avoid pregnancy and know when the peak time is to get pregnant also.
Hubby has decided post ovulation we are going to ditch the condoms!
Even that in itself is scary ...
Half of me wants to say oh dear it didn't work and we got pregnant early lol and the other half does want it to work as it would be good to use as a long term contraception!
So if it goes tits up it doesn't mattercan any of you lovely ladies talk me thru temping please? so i can at least try and keep a track of whats going on coz right now i am clueless! even DH has given in to me wanting to track temps and ovulation days etc - he was dead against it before but has learnt what a complicated being a woman is! lol! *batters eyelids* xx0 -

Thanks PP xxx I took aspirin with my most recent pregnancy, my GP said it wouldn't do any harmWe do have a son, he's 9 and the absolute light of my life :A I had no troubles conceiving/ carrying him and never dreamed it would be so difficult to produce no. 2
We're both determined to get there though. I hope your friend is OK, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm quoting the lovely Pigpen here, who said once you've had miscarriages you never expect pregnancies to end any other way - if you end up with a baby at the end then it's a bonus. Sad but true xx
Hope we all get what we want. 2012 baby for me please! :j:j0
