CD5 today, just back from the docs. I've got a cyst under my arm again that is infected so got to have antibiotics. Asked about my scan results again and this polyp in uterus. Said that is what causes my heavy periods, said she can refer me to the gynae and have the polyp removed if things get bad again. Decided to leave a couple of months and see what happens. Apparently my right ovary wasn't visible! Said it didn't mean there isn't one!!

She also has offered me orlistat to help lose weight....pregnant women can't take. Not sure if to take or not, she knows TTC and obviosuly weight loss will help. Will have a think.

Life never simple......which comes to preseed. I didn't ov last month. Got one faint line last month...think as soon as see any line this month will use then..prob CD18 ish.

Hi, have been looking on other forums about coming off the pill I am on and there are some real horror stories out there! Think I may stop at the end of this packet and then use other contraception for 3-4 months etc. Have also read that if you do fall pregnant when this pill is in your system that it affects the foetus.......

Whilst I was trawling through forums I found a post from a lady who DTD 3 times a day for a month and fell pregnant that month! She must have been exhausted!!

I'm not sure what horror stories you're coming across, I don't know of any! I think you might be scaring yourself unecessarily?

I came off the combined pill with no issues. Without giving too many details my OH is in a medical field and I asked him about having to wait a while after coming off the pill. He looked it up in his databases and said there is no side effects it's really just to make it easier for them to date you if you've had a proper period. HTH

Same here until we decided to leave it to fate i was a regular 28 days girl now im 26-49 and thats just from January '10

Cd 27 here today but think the witch is about to land but tmi using cm as a guide I thought I ov'ed last Tuesday/Wednesday which doesnt give me a 2ww

My oh has also been a pig the last few days and is now doing bumsuckageupage

You've reminded me something I wanted to ask. I know we count CD1 as the first full flow day but what if it starts off sooner and takes a while to get going? I'm just thinking surely this means the lining has already started degrading and therefore the eggs lost it's chance to implant. I guess I'm worrying as that would put me right on the acceptable limit for a viable luteal phase. Bonus points if you can make sense of that

I can make sense of that but I genuinely have no idea as mine are screwy anyway I thought everyone had a day of no flow mid af and then it restarts but apparently not

Isnt there something you can take to lengthen LP???

Vit B complex but it messed things up for me. I took for a month and I started spotting at random times. Once I stopped my cycle did eventually start lengthening the LP...22 DPO....when you do fall pregnant you wouldn't believe how anxious it is making sure and not stressing that AF doesn't turn up. I'm even dreading next OV time but I'm sure it will be fine.
