I heard just making an appointment for the doctors could make you pg:p Good luck!

Lol I love the way you're ever the optimist QQ, don't change

I can't join team sticky as I foolishy panic bought conceive+ instead which is carp. I trying to use it up quickly so I can justify buying preseed instead!

Aaargh why does my body torture me so, it's stopped again TMI: I've only had brown blood and only needed liners so far, I can't cope with the teasing, if I get my hopes up I'll be devastated. It's not helped by needing to go to the loo constantly so I'm obsessively checking (bit worried I'm getting another infection actually).

Deb - with the cbfm there is no guarantee how
many or even if you will get a high before the peak. You should always get two peaks and one high after but before can vary. I normally only have one high before peak but did have a cycle where it when straight for low to peak and this cycle for the first time I had three highs before the peak!!! Just go with it and be ready to dtd. Also my ov day varies from each month to right at the beginning of my cycle to about mid way.

I never believed it could be so complicated!!! I had a chat with my mum yesterday and asked her about her cycles, she pretty much used the completely natural family planning method, she told me she was ALWAYS regular and when she put her mind to it she easily fell pregnant!!! She has 5 of us!!! I'm just hoping I can be as easily lucky too!!!!

Well i'm hoping i get as many chances as poss before peak time!!! this is only my 2nd month of charting it properly!!!

  • Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice/reassurance really. I posted earlier in week about how I don't think I have OV last last couple of months. Anyhow this morning I had some discharge that made me think otherwise. So tonight I did a OV test and it had a positive result. Problem is I am on CD26 (my cycle is approx 35 days long). I had been testing all last week (around CD18 which is what it says for a 35 day cycle). Has anyone heard of ovulation happening this late?

    Thanks xxx

Hey Perdi, just wondering why you think Conceive Plus is carp? I bought it a couple of months ago, used it last month at ov time and this month and thought it was quite good, easy to apply, no fiddling with applicators and did it's job - although it has yet to get me pg :(

5 or 6 dpo for me, and have done some serious ss'ing, all week have talked myself into believing I am pg and that I definitely feel different this month. Then today I had an epiphany and realised that I don't actually feel any different and I don't 'just know' that I am pg.

I've come to the stark realisation that I am going to spend my whole holiday tee-total and avoiding ice cream in the hope of being pg, only to get AF at the end of my hols. Not feeling very PMA today, sorry folks.

(((HUGS))) WW, sorry your feeling so sad but as some people have said on this thread they feel no symptoms at all andit turns out they are pregnant so mayb not looking for signs will keep you sane at least for your holiday!!!

Why wouldn't you eat ice cream??? Is there a reason behind that??

I'm not sure about the alcohol side of things as the egg hasn't attached yet but I'm sure QQ could tell us more about alcohol and very early pregnancy and who knows that carp conceive+ could have done its job and you just don't know yet!!! ;)

Hi WW, it's just personal preference. I'm used to Liquid Silk which comes in a pump dispenser and is fairly gloopy and last for ages. With the conceive+ I find it like water, it somes puring out the tube and goes everywhere but where we want it! Also, like water, it doesn't seem to last very long. I'm hoping it's doing it's job though :o

I thought it was just mr whippy ice cream from a van that they advise against, everything else is fair game!
