I would think you'd need then doing before. We did. I think it would be better to try to get the simple tests done before than potentially waste your appointment with the specialist with him just telling you to have some tests done.

I had a chat with one of the midwives where I work and confessed that we were trying for a little one. She said my age wasn't really a problem, she's just had a lady of 53 :eek: who gave birth (and didn't know she was pregnant :eek: ). She advised me to be as relaxed as possible, time after time she finds ladies who have been trying for ages, nothing happens, give up and then wham, are pregnant !! It was so reassuring talking to her, she's lovely and I would love to have her at my delivery if my ship ever arrives with a little beany onboard

So ladies, we've all got to chill out, no stressing, plenty of BD'ing, lots of laughing and fingers crossed we'll have loads of BFP's :j:j

Hope you find a lovely new house. We moved fairly recently into a (nearly) lovely 4 bed family home. Now we just need some kids to fill it up

We saw a cute wee house today. its previous owner was a little old lady so the house is spotless but everything needs redecorated, new kitchen, new bathroom etc. The shell of the house is fab though, with nice big rooms, a dining kitchen, and nice established back garden with an old tree in the far corner. Also its near to a kiddies park, and a short walk (pushing a pram :whistle:) from a conservation part of town with lovely old buildings, pedestrianised part of town etc.

GG I would show the letter to your GP and ask for the tests to be done before the appointment date.

OMG!! I'm soooo excited...i've got EWCM today!! I've never had id before and wondered if I new when i had it, but it's definately it! Don't know why i'm so excited,but i just am

Im on CD17 and my CBFM made me test, but is still on low. Is there a certain time i might OV now? Does EWCM always mean you will ov soon?

I've been having sharp pains on my right side and a very very mild AF feeling as if im about to start though

I'm keeping my fingures crossed that today has worked QQ

hi ladies, I'm sending hugs to all that need them, and i've got my fingers crossed for everyone else.

I am now 1DPO, got a negative OPK today going to do the deed tonight and tomorrow and then sunday and all bases should then be covered and loaded!!!

OH was feeling a little left out so has now also started temping (not sure what he hopes to see but its making him feel included :rotfl:)

Which tests are they talking about? Semen Analysis and blood tests? Your DH can do the blood tests, but female blood tests usually needs to be done at the beginning of the cycle (like CD3) and also 7DPO to check ov.

You should check with your GP.

If you are sure it's ewcm and not the remains of BD, then BD!:j
EWCM before ov usually means imminent ov. EWCM after ov can be anything from pre-AF, pg as well as random surge in estrogen:o
