  • I don't have any hpts so haven't tested though. I only have a digi so don't want to waste it. I think I'd feel terrible if it came up positive then af finally arrived after all the vitamin c and parsley tea. Not sure I could live with myself :(

Would I def get a positive opk if I was pregnant? Done loads of them and all have lines but no dark ones. They are low sensitivity 40 miu ones if that makes a difference?

Done my digi and not pregnant. So bring on af!
  • Evening all

    I have goooooooooood neeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwws!! :)

Final meeting went well, they have offered me the new position and its at a slightly higher salary than im on now, it will also go up by another grand at the end of the four week trial period.

I have to work my 4 week notice then the 4 week trial period will start but they said they may be able to start the trial period sooner so will soon be bd'ing till the stork delivers!! Better wait till my trial is up and have my contract but a couple of months wont hurt (actually it helps me avoid christmas birthday baby) and im gonna be busy so it will zoom by hopefully

Hope you guys are all ok, promise to try and keep properly with the thread now, hugs all round (cos im in a gooooood mooood) :):):)

Just a very quick nip on to say hi, and an update.

Random pains seem to have stopped overnight. Did another IC test this morning and...may have got a very TLP...not holding my breath as it was very faint and only came up after about 8 mins.

thats good the pains have stopped hon. fingers crossed it turns into a BFP xx
Jen: the house sounds lovely and everything needing doing means it can be done exactly how you want. You think you might go for it?

its tempting :) We'd have to wait a while though as the long term plan is to rent out our flat & theres a bit of work to be done on it first... install central heating, put in new bathroom etc. So we're going to live here a bit longer while doing that work, and at the same time keep savng towards a deposit for the new house. We're just checking out the area just now and took a wee nosey inside the one we liked best :D

Done my digi and not pregnant. So bring on af!

    *AF dance!*

OK i want to run something by you guys before OH comes home from work ;) ....

today best pal and I met up and took her DD out to the disney store. it was very cute she was so excited and she got Woody who she kept calling Noody! she has a book about him too and kept chatting away about her 'Nudey book!' lol

anyway BF's been getting rid of all her baby stuff as her DD is growing out of it, and she's asked if we would like to take the wee one's cot, as she knows we're TTC. (she's the only person who knows this). its a lovely cot and great condition, the only thing is we'd need to take it within the next 2 weeks as she's doing up DD's room and has nowhere to store it.

do you think this is bad luck to get a cot before even PG?? also have a feeling it might freak OH out a little bit :o and how would we keep it hidden from family etc who don't know we're TTC?

    opinions please!

    thanks,

    Jen xxx

Jen - Do you have a garage to keep it in? It's not something I'd want to have propped up in the corner of the bedroom! My mum has been taking baby stuff from a friend for years in hope I'll use it one day. Think she has it all in the loft. I think there's no harm in it as long as you don't think it would upset you if TTC takes longer than you expect. I'm not superstitious at all by the way.
