how long are your cycles usually... can see from your FF chart that you're on CD30 already... depending on cycle length AF - or BFP! - should have showed up by the weekend? Usually i wouldn't drink on the 2ww. You could always do the trick of getting a 'vodka lemonade' but get it yourself and leave out the voddy
I don't know how long my cycles are...Until we started TTC, I had been on the pill for 8 years, apart from about 2 years ago, when I came off the combined pill because of migraines. I was off the pill for about 10 months, during which time I had 14 day cycles! Nightmare. Since then, I was on the mini pill until Boxing Day, when I took my last one.
Sorry, that was a very long-winded way of saying...I have no idea! Yeah, I would have expect AF to arrive by now, but did a test on Monday and got a BFN.
I think I will try and get away with alcohol-free drinks (and virgin cocktails if we go to a cocktail bar). I'll prob do another test on thurs or fri as well, if AF doesn't arrive.

Having a downer - Still no AF, think i may have messed my dates up
def due soon as my dreaded acne is here! also feeling extremely unfit/unhealthy/plain old fat! Tis my birthday this week too so will try and resist the choc cake i have lol Hope your all having a good evening x
SMASH - sorry, not read whole threas so apologies if this isnt applicable - but if your boiler is completely f$£%^& then ring British Gas - they'll fix it even if you arent with them but they do charge x0 -
Still no sign of AF!! So fingers crossed. I haven't told hubby that I am late, he'll walk around with a goofy smile the whole time and give the game away, I hate disappointing him if AF arrives.
We're off to London for the weekend, so might test before we go or it will be a good distraction over the weekend and test when we get back. DD is being spoilt by the Make a Wish foundation, trip on the river, Lion King the musical and London Zoo. Should be amazing. And she so deserves it she's lying at the moment in a hospital bed having a blood transfusion, then chemotherapy tomorrow. She's so cheerful too, even when she's being poorly she never complains, although she lets me moan my head off!!

Oh, Smash, I had a thought re your job, maternity leave etc. You said you didn't think you'd be able to take much time off as they wouldn't be able to cope without you. This is a horrible thing to say, but what would they do if you suddenly got hit by a bus/got ill? My point is, they would need to find a way to manage. Perhaps your pregnancy, when it happens, would be a good opportunity for them to get a plan of action in place, so that if something did happen, they'd be ok. No business should rely that much on one individual, it's poor management IMO.
(Sorry if that all sounds a bit bossy, just trying to think of ammunition for you in case you decide that you don't want to rush back to work quite so quickly!)
Can't remember who asked, but I'm an engineer. Proper geek, LOL!

Mimi- thanks re: boiler, we've reset it and hoping that works... Don't think it's anything too major, might have air pocket in system (I lost interest at that point so can't tell you much more :rotfl: My only question was - can I take a shower in the morning:rotfl:)
Fellpony - I know what you mean re: dissapointing hubby with AF. Soon we'll surprise them  Your weekend away sounds amazing and I hope you get to top it off with a bfpBless your DD, she sounds like an absolute treasure.
Re: your DD being called Kidney bean - my sis looked like Yoda when she came out and my Dad still calls her it! :rotfl:
Penny - glad your thermometer arrived! Jump on the temping bandwagon - you may not leave without a BFPGood luck for tomorrow!!!
BB - I often wonder the same thing re: my job... I was ill just over a year ago and just had to pick up bits when I got back. I am a very career driven individual and love my job and the reliance on me. My MD always says I'd do well in his position (duh - that's what I'm eventually aiming for!!! He's got to retire at some point!!)
Enough about work - I've got the day off tomorrow!
Night ladies xxQue Sera, Sera0 -
*waves*

Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0
