Come on Sunday, how can a week take so long!!!

QQ a third of my tablets are for having under active tyroid glands, the rest are whats reccomended to assist the body to make the most of the thyroxine. Having read my natural infertility book most of the things I am taking are listed in there to assist with baby making! Mainly Zinc.
I have only been taking them for just over a month so it could be them thats making me calmer but I do feel very peaceful this week which in my life is quite a rareity.

Evening ladies. Well it's the end of the week for me, got tomorrow off work (and monday and tuesday!), but only to study so not all that exciting.
Feeling so tired, but I think that's just due to having had the week from hell at work!
Lost 3lbs in a week, since my DH has been away - without even trying! I sent him a text to tell him he must be a feeder...!
Sitting here blubbing watching a recording of OBEM - the one with the really pretty girl having a water birth. Blimmin eck though, I'm not sure I could do that...I'm such a wuss!  Maybe I should stick to my cats...and be a mad old cat lady instead of a mummy!

Just found out that my friend's wife is having a little girl....awwww.

I know that underactive thyriods do!!

I'd test in the afternoon as LH is made late in the morning.
You need to do it after holding your pee and not drinking for at least 3hrs to get it concentrated enough.

Once the lines starts to get dark, I'd do another one before you go to bed, and FMU to catch the +.

Also, those ICs are PIAC not POAS, but I POAS anyway:p So long as it is in the urine for 10 secs:cool:

I thought you are going to hold off TTCing until next year?
    Good luck anyway!:j

Thanks QQ. Ok so I could POAS at work later this morning but what do I do with it during the 5 min wait?? Not sure I can hang out in a cubicle until then but not sure taking a pi55y stick back to my desk is appropriate!!!!

Curiosity got the better of me and paranoia too... I want to make sure things are working down there and if we end up preggers before really starting, so be it.

I know over's can but mine is now controlled and Im only on a maintenance dose and should be off it in a few months. My ex boss had an underactive and got pregnant first go. is yours controlled or still in the process. i'm on 5mg of carb with stable results so should be off it from july :j

I hope mine is controlled, I've been on (175mg) thyroxine now since 2000, the results seem stable so the docs aren't overly bothered.
I wish I was that lucky, it took me 8 months with DD1 (I looked back in my diaries, saddo that I am!)

Can you still have your op then or will it be postponed now?

Hiya hon i had it anyway, thanks to TTC & charting AFs i was expecting the AF to show up. so asked about it in advance and they said it would be fine to go ahead with the op
I had mine last week and was surprised how ok it was, but then all they did was take a look and I needed nothing doing. Apparently my tubes were fine, which right now I'm taking to be a bad thing as there's still no explanation for our infertility! All we can do is carry on trying though and this month we're going to really try. Lucky me :D

CD4 for me. AF was early thanks to the lap and is the worst I've had for years but at least it means we can start trying again more quickly.

thats great to hear your's went well! at least you know everythings clear in there and hopefully you'll get a sticky one v soon :D

did they tell you on the day what they found? (or didn't find!)

i'm getting my results sent out in the post was a bit surprised expecting to hear on the day but hey ho, good to be home. OH has been a star lookin after me and tonight he made lentil soup... he was like 'i'm going to warn you its pretty thin'... he'd forgotton the lentils :rotfl: i love him so much hehe.

lets hope we get pg v soon, OH is talking about it more now think he's getting more excited about becomming a daddy.

Congrats on your bfp manda! :T xx

I'd wait say 2 minutes, then put it back into the packet, and bring it back to the desk, keeping it level as much as possible. Then take a peek later:cool:

    Congratulations manda, fantastic news:j
I've got no idea whats going on with me, CD19 (27-33ish), temps all over the shop http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/339654 and still no +ve on opk (although v feint line today) - confused???
Your temps are really all over the place. Do you measure it in the same place (under the tongue, same side) every morning? Also, is your mouth dry?

If you disregard temps on CD15 & 17, it looks fine though:p

Well AF appeared today so no idea why I had thought that I had a few symptons. Next month will not jump to any conclusions and do the test if AF is 1 day late. It was probably too good to be true if it happened as just not long off the pill.

    March BFP for us then!

    Morning!! Happy Friday!!!!

Lynn - ((hugs)) sorry the witch got you
Penny - Do you temp? If not, maybe try that to monitor your cycle and pinpoint ov?
ilovecushions - not over til the witch shows! When are you due to come on?
Jen151 - I've added you on fertility friend

CD13(22) I woke up at 4am this morning for the second time this week. How random...! I took my temp and then forgot to make a note of it before I left for work :( So, will update my chart when I get home.

We have a lot of stuff going on at work over the next 6-8 weeks so if I do get pg this cycle, I am going to have to keep it VERY well hidden... Discrimination may be illegal but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...

Hope everyone has a good Friday!!!!! :D
