Psst... Hi girls.... Just received my first IC OPKs in the post and plan to use one tomorrow. On the instructions it says not to use FMU and to do it between 10am and 8pm and to wait 5 mins. So I'm wondering - do you do yours at work???? I suppose I could wait til I get home but I thought it was best to do 2 a day to deffo catch OV? Any other OPK tips most welcome too. Thanks!
I'd test in the afternoon as LH is made late in the morning.
You need to do it after holding your pee and not drinking for at least 3hrs to get it concentrated enough.

Once the lines starts to get dark, I'd do another one before you go to bed, and FMU to catch the +.

Also, those ICs are PIAC not POAS, but I POAS anyway:p So long as it is in the urine for 10 secs:cool:

I thought you are going to hold off TTCing until next year?
    Good luck anyway!:j

KellyG - Good God, I think I would've drove off and left him there without saying a word at that point! I would be so angry, I couldn't trust myself not to say something I wouldn't regret (especially after he was so unpleasant to you when you got lost).

Oh Norris, I was so mad. I had proper potty mouth thats for sure!! Surely, its not difficult to check your coat.

start using the OPK's tomorrow and I'm feeling surprisingly positive about it all. I know its just a matter of time and getting the timing right so I guess when it happens it happens. Full of PMA for a change!!!!

Well AF appeared today so no idea why I had thought that I had a few symptons. Next month will not jump to any conclusions and do the test if AF is 1 day late. It was probably too good to be true if it happened as just not long off the pill.

  • QQuaver Yes, you are on CD18.
One usually ov's at around CD12-18 if you have 28 day cycles.
Do you get any ov signs? EWCM?

No not this month  and no lines on the sticks either

  • Come on Sunday, how can a week take so long!!!

QQ a third of my tablets are for having under active tyroid glands, the rest are whats reccomended to assist the body to make the most of the thyroxine. Having read my natural infertility book most of the things I am taking are listed in there to assist with baby making! Mainly Zinc.
I have only been taking them for just over a month so it could be them thats making me calmer but I do feel very peaceful this week which in my life is quite a rareity.
