Just popping in to say :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j to all the BFP's

On the OPK's I had a faint line yesterday after 4 days of nothing. I will be doing another test in the next few mins. This is the 1st month I've been testing so I don't know if I'll get more faints or it will go positive. Its all a bit exciting even though I won't be putting it to good use this month. Will tell you shortly.

Hey ladies thought you could all do with a laugh so here is a little anecdote from my OH..

After a heart to heart we decided that the whole sitting back and just seeing route really wasn't happy, we were both a little down when it didn't happen this month

So off to amazon a pop and get a BBT thermometer to start temping this cycle to see how it goes.

Well my package arrived yesterday and these were the words of wisdom I was met with upon opening....

Made me cry too! Just a little and had to hide it from OH as he finds it dead funny when I cry at the telly Thought it was lovely seeing them with their babies afterwards, just made me want one of my own more

The OPK has a faint line, so maybe it is a day or two of those then. Which means I will probably OV at about CD16/17. Good to know at I was previously working on 14... no wonder there were no BFP's when I thought there would have been.

Ahh bless the OH's .....they do come out with some funny stuff sometimes.

My OH not so funny this month.....after yet another chat about how much we want a baby I told him we have to BD every other day for a week, he agrees, day after first BD he says 'can't it wait til tomorrow'

I bloody give up! It's not even the baby making making it just makes me feel really unattractive and when I tell him that he says he does fancy me just hasn't got the 'urge' very often. Sigh.

How's everyone doing?

ilovecushions- sounds like you need to be with my OH- I have the lowest sex drive in the world and is such the opposite of my man's. I'm pretty sure the main reason he's happy to TTC is because he know's he'll be getting some regularly! (Not that it matters because he won't listen to me about having hot baths!)

My DH has low sex drive, except right after AF and after ov:lipsrseal

Sounds like you have differing sex drives. Most couples do. OH and I have differing sex drives too.

If OH had his way, we'd do it every day, 4 times a day! :eek: Whereas I can quite happily go a few days with none at all, because I just don't feel like it. I still fancy the pants off him, but I just don't feel like having sex all the time. Outside factors affect my libido too: how tired I am, how stressed I am, if I lots to worry about etc etc.

We just try to meet in the middle now, with me doing it a little more often than my choosing and him doing it less often than his choosing. Can you maybe do that?

What I will say though, is if you make a big deal out of it, he'll most likely want it even less. That's how I feel whenever OH starts to complain a little. Makes you feel like nothing more than an object and that is not sexy. So, I would recommend softly, softly approach and just talk about it in general. Include what you both like and dislike.
